This presentation addresses the critical issue of environmental pollution and its impact on vulnerable populations, particularly the elderly and those living in poverty. It highlights the need for strategic interventions to combat the adverse health effects stemming from pollution, focusing on poor housing conditions and lifestyle factors. The presentation suggests outdoor interventions, such as limiting exposure and using protective masks, and indoor interventions, including ensuring clean fuel burning and promoting proper dietary supplements. It also emphasizes the importance of improved housing plans for impoverished communities and accessible healthcare facilities to address pollution-related health issues. The presentation acknowledges the ethical and practical challenges in implementing these strategies, particularly concerning the orthodox mentality of older individuals. Ultimately, the proposed strategies are deemed effective due to their cost-effectiveness and alignment with ethical standards, offering a practical approach to improving public health.
