Introduction
In this report the advised are being provided regarding the less emission of the gas
and causing less harm to nature by using some of the alternative way so that the company can
reduce the pollution which they are causing to the environment. The report also states about the
effects of the gas emission in the financial statements of the company.
Discussion
Answer to Question 1
As per the case study suggests it can be stated that the company has fixed its mission as
the developing of the more oil and gas reserves. This will create a huge problem for the
environment. The drilling for the purpose of the oil disrupts the wildlife which also happens to
be an integral part of the food chain and also the part of the bio-diversity (Songolzadeh et al
2014). The oil spills of will create the deadly effect to the animals as it disrupts the oxygen flow
which in turn create problem. There are also many other causes which will create the problem
and hence bring down the reputation of the company in the market. This will have the direct
effect on the financial statement of the company. This is also against the shareholder’s interest.
The effect of which will be visible on the share price of the company in the financial market.
Answer to Question 2
The best strategy to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions is to reduce the emissions of the
heat and also reduce the air conditioning. The products which are to be used must be recyclable
and hence can be used for multiple times. The company must use less energy emissions products
which enhances the quality of the environment (Kopfer, Schönberger and Kopfer 2014). The

company must conduct the project of afforestation by planting a seeds for every new employee.
The company also must search for renewable energy or increase the using of the solar energy.
The use of the wave energy is one of the best ways to fight with the greenhouse gas and reduce
the global warming.
Conclusion
It can be concluded the company need to use some of the renewable energy so that the
company can curb with the pollution which they are making while reserving the oil and the gas.
The company also needs to use modern technology which can emit less pollution and harm less
to the environment.
