throughout the entire globe. This essay will critically analyse the concept of common good
which includes step towards the benefit and the interest of the entire globe by means of collective
action as well as active participation. This study highlights the importance of combating
environmental pollution which have a direct effect over the health conditions of the globe.
However these health race are generally higher in the developing countries in which lack of
investment in modern technology followed by poverty as well as weak legislation of the
environment combines together to cause high levels of pollution (Zhang and Smith, 2003).
Association on the connection among environmental pollution and the global health outcomes
are complex and often are poorly characterized.
Environmental pollution includes contamination of water, air and soil by the activity of human
targeting as one of the largest cause of several disease as well as death in countries which are
mostly low and middle-income (Mokdad et al., 2016). According to the reports by World health
organisation more than 8.9 million people die every year due to the disease caused by
environmental pollution.
In most of the developing countries the predominant formation of the pollution with
contaminated drinking water and polluted air are contributing to the causes of diarrhoea and
pneumonia. Further more toxic chemicals, ambient air pollution, hazardous waste and pesticides
are some of the predominant hazards of environment within the globe (Zhang et al., 2017).
Regarding the health can text these are majorly linked to non communicable diseases like
neurodevelopment disorder, asthma and birth defects among children, as well as stroke and
cancer among adults.

Environmental pollution is one of the biggest challenges in the world which has been arising
from the use of environment by consumers and the producers as a dumping ground for pollutants
and wastes. Apart from the health, environmental pollution is really bad for business operations
and the market since the traffic condition due to pollution tends to disrupt the daily operations

followed by contaminated water and food is likely to have a negative effect over the job
performance of employees thereby disrupting the business market.
The concept of pollution is not new. Whenever people have came together to live, they pile up
wastes with the nature and the forces of nature cannot digest and recycle. From the global
perspective, it is important to tackle the effects of pollution as well as the root cause of pollution
for the achievement of the common good of global well-being.
The awareness of environmental pollution needs to be embedded within the individuals.
Education acts as one of the key tools towards increasing awareness as well as concern for the
environment. According to the data from the international social survey, education helps in
encouraging individuals to protect the environment by showing more concern regarding the
environment and also engaging in actions which promote as well as support political decisions
that aims in protecting environmental pollution and associated health hazards (Frumkin 2016).
The control of the emission of several contaminants and pollution towards environment that
brings down the level of the pollution has been proposed by the government of countries. The
proposal includes various updated methods like pollution control technologies as well as devices,
like the chemical methods, the nanotechnology and the laser methods. This pollution control
technologies target to reduce emissions by cleaning the dirty and the exhaust air. According to
the data There are several technologies that are being used within the industrial process as well

as the transportation for controlling pollution. The uses of the sensors within the control of
pollution has become a wide range of application since the sensors to detect the pollution in
specific areas.
According to the United nation environment assembly, many of the policies throughout the globe
have been initiated but their needs to be e more governmental interference and engagement
towards the introduction of strict laws to counter pollution and its associated effects (Eckelman
and Sherman, 2016). There has been a number of international conventions and national laws
that have already tackled the problem including efforts to repair ozone layer and the number of
toxic chemicals and pesticides. The convention on biological diversity has been an essential step
for decreasing pollution.
