Research Problem
The aim of the study is to know that how the personality of the epileptic patients are affected by
their disease.
Research Design
This is a quantitative study whose output are based on the techniques that are quantitative and
they are analyzed mostly on the data that are received from the data that are taken from the
participants. The Independent variables for this design epilepsy and Dependent variable is the
patients’ personality. For controlling the biasness for selecting the participants, the researchers
select the participants in a randomized manner.
Sampling and data collection
The researcher will design a fully structured survey with hundred participants. This will
be achieved by seeking the consent of the participants, informing them about the significance of
the research and eventually scheduling the time for the survey.
Tools
For this quantitative study, questionnaires of Eysenck Personality Inventory Questionnaire and
WHO Quality of Life Questionnaire was used (Oltmanns & Widiger, 2017).
Procedure

Firstly, the participants were given an introductory mail that contains the information
about the research. As the questionnaire is self administered, a link was provided in the email
that would direct them to the online questionnaire. The questionnaire is self-administered and
there was a link given to the participants that will guide them to the respective questionnaire. The
data are collected based on the responses that are given by the respondents. The statistical data
are collated from the data that are collected.
