INTRODUCTION
Reflective learning may be defined as the process of active learning which involves
doing assignment of various students along with managing their work. It helps in examining the
strengths and weaknesses and their personal learning through various models. It helps in
maintaining unconscious events in addition to that it provides effective knowledge to work. It
helps the students in their academic studies and also serves various types of working pattern to
the students and provides feedback if they face the same situation in the future. This essay will
cover the Gibbs reflection cycle along with the description of feed forward and feedback. It will
also cover various methods in order to improve the formative and summative assessment.

Reflection makes the students aware about their self thinking process and able to make
transparent those to others. It is a way that allows the learners to come back from their learning
experiences which helps them to formulate the critical thinking skills along with improving their
performance by analysing the outcomes that they have learned so far. It may be considered as the
most important way by which students can enhance their confidence level and creates self
awareness. Gibbs reflective cycle was introduced by Graham Gibbs in 1998, helps in describing
learning experiences revolving around completion of certain task or activity. This model consist
of six learning stages. Description is the first stage of reflective model that describe the situation
or experience that an individual has encountered with it earlier. It does not include the suggestion
or conclusion as it only defines what had happened. This provides a brief description of the
situation. The very next stage is feeling , it shows the thoughts and feelings and how does it
impact on their experiences such as what Is the feelings before/during/ and after the situation.
The third stage of reflective model is evaluation, as how people evaluate their experiences
whether positively or negatively. It involves both for good and bad situation and how an
individual evaluate those experiences. The fourth stage is analysis in which people try to make
sense of the situation. The person is now able to understand the situation that what things go well
in this situation and what thins not. The fifth stage is conclusion as it involves all those learning

to analyse and understand the project in both positive and negative way. The feed is used in the
