Equality Act 2010
As per the Equality Act 2010, it is stated that there should be no sort of discrimination or
racism in any organization.
Whether it is on the basis of colour, gender etc., but it is not allowed at all. It has been
observed that the people were discriminating the minority groups etc.
Also, there was a huge amount of discrimination on the behalf of colour of a person.
Actually, the law was developed by government because discriminating someone on the basis
of colour, gender etc. can actually throw a very negative influence on the mental stability of
the person.

When the rate of incidents increased, then the government took this initiative to control it
by preventive measures.
One of the very well known way was implementing an Act.
Also, the act says if anyone found guilty in this, they may have to pay huge penalties and
also their punishment can lead to imprisonment as well.

diversity because everyone has a right to live free, without any boundation etc. focusing
