INTRODUCTION
Law is considered as one of the most important part of society which helps in dealing
with different aspects related to activities taking place within society. In other words laws means
those set of legislation that helps in dealing upon various crimes existing within society. Laws
covers issues in relation over discrimination, property dispute, finance and grievous hurt.
Different laws like civil and criminal deals upon those aspects which helps in balancing peace
and order within society. Also laws provides proper framework that makes issues solved in
appropriate manner. Scope of law is wider as it deals upon those aspects that creates balance
within society. Nature of law is dynamic due to its tendency over impacting society in both
negative and positive manner. The file is divide into four sections that covers issues over chosen
group with appropriate legislation used for controlling it. In the end case law is been covered.
TASK
Section one
The group that has been selected for the projects is disable children. Such children suffers
from disability that cannot be cured or is with them since birth. These children in order to make
them part of society they are exposed to it. Due to there disability they faces problems which is
related to discrimination in relation equality. So, the area of discrimination that has been marked
out in relation to disable children is discriminating on the basis of social boycott. This means that
these children is not accepted within society because of the disability that is been hold by them.
In other words social boycott is related to those group of persons which prevent from mingling
within society. They are marginalized in the society(Davison, 2018). These ways deprive an
individual or group from those opportunities which are open. for other individual or groups. Also
there are various other problems that is been faced by disabled people is majorly based upon
social and economic crises that has been existing during there life. Also they face health issues
due to medicinal shortage at times. Disable children within society dos not socializes much
because of the fear that none should be accepting them as they are. Being socially boycotted
disable children consider themselves separated form society (Bouillon and Rosen, 2018).
It can be marked out that the major area of discrimination that has been marked out in
relation to disable children is based upon those social conduct which is mainly based upon

protecting people from any kind of discrimination within workplace with wider aspect covered
within society. The act was replacement of previously existing anti-discrimination laws which
were not appropriate in order to control discrimination. Further the laws mainly prohibits
discrimination regarding age, disability, gender, marriage, pregnancy or religion. Under the act
various kinds of discrimination is been covered that is based upon treating one person and
protecting characteristics. Such discriminations are direct discrimination within which an
individual is been protected with characteristics. In order ton understand it example is given that
is promotion comes up at work. The employer believes that people’s memories get worse as they
get older so doesn’t tell one of his older employees about it, because he thinks the employee
wouldn’t be able to do the job(Bonello, 2018). Other kind of discrimination is indirect
discrimination that takes place in relation to disable children in a way when the rules and policies
that has been formed impacts living of disable children and violates there fundamental right.
This can be understood with the help of example that a local authority is planning to redevelop
some of its housing in order to make home for disabled children. For such purpose he decides to
hold consultation events within evening. After the house was made disable children were not
allowed to go out of there houses. So, there basic right is been violated of freedom. Then the act
covers about harassment under this disable person is not treated with dignity and is been
humiliated with degradation. This can be understood with the helps of example that a man with
Down’s syndrome is visiting a pub with friends. The bar staff make derogatory and offensive
comments about him, which upset and offend him. Other things that is covered within the act is

was made to school authority but no action was taken by them. Further parents filed petition
against the school in court. In this court ordered police to investigate the matter and submit them
the report as soon as possible (Al Banna, 2020). As the police was conducting investigation they
found that management of the school was not providing facilities to children and mixed poison in
there food. Further the investigation of police few points were marked out and they are as
follows:
An allowance in relation to sickness absence
School management was not performing there duty in proper manner.
Also the food and drink that has been served to them were not of good quality.
They were been beaten at times when there parents complained about such incidences to
management.
Further the report was submitted to the court and it was held by the court that British
school did not treated the students in proper manner. They were using in appropriate language
and also harassed them by beating them. This was made clear within judgement of the court that
school should be sealed immediately and management should be dismissed.
