today's business environment the role and importance of equality and diversity is increasing that
leaving significant impact on activity and operation level of employees as well as their
performances (Bjorvatn and Wald, 2018). Diversity and equality in workplace is a primal factor
playing major role in performances of individuals present at different levels and on overall
performance and profitability of company. Moreover, the concept of diversity and equality is
contributing to Corporate Social Responsibilities of company too as they are required to serve to
the society in which operations are being performed and returning back the favour to the people
by generating employment opportunities and rendering them equal chance to grow
professionally. The respective report is developed on Burberry a British luxury fashion house
which was founded in 1856 and headquartered in London, UK offering products and services all
over world.

organisation.
According to the views of Lynne Callister. 2019, diversity and equality at workplace is a
wide concept which reflects upon the practices going on the firm in relation with equal
opportunities being provided to all personnels according to their skills and position and how they
are being treated by management and other colleagues. Diversity and equality is a practice by
which firms are suggested to hire of all kinds, belonging to separate backgrounds and providing
each employee equal chances and opportunities to grow (Heldman, 2018). Diversity in
workforce renders them a widen range of employees bring better and fresh thinking developing
creative and innovative ways of working and performing separate tasks. Bringing equality in
company is the characteristic of the culture in workplace. Organisational culture plays a major
role in developing and environment in which all personnels are provided equal opportunities to
showcase their talents and mover further in career through their skill set and capabilities.
