INTRODUCTION
Education is a fundamental to development and growth or it is a main key from which
person can show or construct their personality and views in better way. For decades, educational
psychologist have examine the varieties of learning ways debits from different people as every
person is unique it own way so they reveal different way to adapt the learning procedure.
According to my experience, a person is fully developed when he has accomplished all stages of
education whether it is basic or final, and human mind is structured in way which can make
possible all development either it is health advances, agricultural innovation or efficient public ,
private sector growth. As there is no better tool which can make it happen than education.
Education is a weapon to improve one's life(Grubbs, 2020). It is a lifetime process which ends
with death. It helped me to enhance my skills, it also has also promoted my productivity and
creativity . By learning one can achieve their life goals and can become better version of
themselves. While enrolment has increased in promising fashion, learning levels have remained
disappointingly and many levels remain left behind. It happened due to growth, development and
poverty reduction depend on the knowledge, skills and experience that people acquire, not the
number of years in classrooms. According to studies, it is concluded that learning is equated to a
change in behaviour.
MAIN BODY
Person-centred ways of working in hospital:
Person centred care is one of the 13th fundamental standard of care that the Care Quality
Commission. As every hospital staff have their working strategies for their way of working, the
Person-centred have their own strategies where the is right of equality of every person in a
hospital is followed mandatory. Delivering person-centred care involves caring for patients
beyond their condition and tailoring your service to suit their individual wants and needs. It’s
about respecting that they have their own views on what’s best for them, and have their own
values and priorities in life. There are four strategies followed by Person-centred they are
'treating person with dignity, compassion and respect' , 'provide coordinated care, support and

treatment', 'offer personalised care', 'support and treatments' as well as 'Enable service users to
recognise and develop their strengths and abilities, so they can live an independent and fulfilling
life. Person centred care relies a number of aspect, including: people's value and putting at the
centre of care as their priorities, taking into account people's preferences and needs which they
have choose, emotional support, ensuring people safe and comfortable, conditions of patients
personal relation whether they are getting involve with family and friends, making sure people
have access to assistance of care that they need,respecting their right to have privacy as well if a
patient does not want to inform any family member regarding disease so the information will be
confidential. These are some facts which are followed by Person-centred care.
Since, Right of equality conclude that every person should be treated secular(Ware and
et.al., 2020). There should be no discrimination by gender, disease or any other reason. Person
centred therapy diverged from the traditional model of therapist or expert and move instead
towards a redirection, empathic approach that empowers and motivates the client in the
therapeutic process. Person centred care is more like majority in desires, values, family and
social situations and lifestyles. In case of Jacob, who had just met with an accident, as there can
be many different ways to indulge a patient in social and entertaining activities. It is also termed
as Rogerian therapy, that has tremendous impact on the field of psychotherapy and many other
disciplines. Well involving every patients in a social activities can help patients psychologically
and they can cope with their health rapidly(Chen, 2020). Activities can be reading novels or
books in front of each other, drama, story-telling others can be organised and executes
systematically, in this way it can help patients to pass time as well as it help to attain the
relationship between carers or hospital staff and patients more stronger. Those patients who are
interested in music, pictures should be provided according to their needs in order to pass their
time, if these activities will not be conducted so that person can derive their thoughts into
negative path which can prove harmful for their recovery power and health. As healthcare
and social workers can carry out best results if equality, diversity and inclusion maintain. In this
case of Jacob, hence he is physically damaged equality can be follow up by making him sit in the
communication circle where he can express himself freely and staff should treat him with dignity
and respectfully.

As a healthcare, I always ensure that there should be equality fair and all must follow
policy. Equality termed as secular and even behaviour toward patients suffering from any kind of
disease(Contreras and et.al., 2020). Where as, diversity can be defined as treating people
respectfully on the basis to their age, ability, their gender , culture and sexual orientation. Many
people have reported their experiences in context of behaviour of staff which vary from patient
to patient, these Right of Equality and Diversity introduced to tackle their problems which they
were facing during treatment. Communication should be part of treatment, as many health
researchers have introduced direct and indirect pathways of communications, in which direct
pathway affects patient experience improved psychological well being which indicate fewer
negative thoughts ( anxiety, fear etc.) and positive ones (hope, optimism and self worth)
meanwhile the indirect pathways affects health through a more indirect or mediated route
through proximal outcomes( satisfaction with care, motivation to adhere etc. ) Every hospice
strictly follow this rule. As it is beneficial and promote to improvement of health. As per 6cs
principle, the values which tagged Compassion in Practice, the national strategy for carers and
nurses which was launched in December 2012. Since then a unique campaign of work through
six actions areas they are: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage and
Commitment, which created a great momentum across the country which has recognized the
very crucial or vital role. As communication termed in respect of relation of patient and carers is
central to successful relationship and to effective team work. As communication is two way
process so listening is also significant. It is very important that the equality and diversity policy
included within the employer's handbooks. The reason for including this, if individual experience
these unfair treatments then it may take legal action to enforce its terms. In the case of Jacob,
there can be possible several communication methods from which person can express his
thoughts or pain to his loved ones or carers(Karakhan and et.al., 2020). Ways can be verbal, non-
verbal, written and E- based. By communicating to Jacob perhaps promote his healing as well as
effective communication also can help to improve understanding within health professionals and
patient but it can also have a positive impact on health outcomes.

As Person-centred care supports equality, diversity as well as inclusion. Many healthcare
make sure that the patients are involved in certain activities. SKILLSFORCARE is independent

their services(Pera, 2020). According to my views, Person centred care enhance the quality of
care. It also provide ample of opportunities for patients to get proper care if they need as well it
focus on the independence and activeness of patient. Patients are able to understand on the basis
of likes and dislikes of individual. But sharing a form of bond with patients is also a concrete
which is indirect medium of supporting them by promoting equality, diversity and inclusion. One
have their basic needs which need to fulfil by organisation or staff. Patients should be treated as a
responsibility, with justify respect and dignity. As a healthcare, it is determined that every patient
belong to their own race and financial stability, one sums up both facts of quality and diversity.
Understanding the background of patients being served including culture, gender, sexual
orientation, religious beliefs, and socio-economic status can be helpful in promoting
diversity(Bakken, 2020).
There are some strategies given below which can help to promote DEI( diversity,
equality,inclusion) as follows: To know baseline: Firstly, if the strategy is planned so one should know about source of
problem, to tackle this problem survey should be conducted to analyse. It may help
organisation to learn about current perception of DEI. Identify indicators of success: Creating goals to hire employees who are good in
communication. Since it will reduce any type of communication gap between patient and
staff.
Measure success and involvement: tracking progress is a key, organisation should know
about the number of DIE survey and as healthcare providers are responsible to maintain
the code of conduct. Healthcare professionals are treated patients as people and make
them comfortable.

Ethical dilemmas encountered in the workplace when balancing individual rights with the

This can be define that there are number of function which have to be use in order to achieve
better results in sector of heath care this is evaluated that these function have to be use in order to
meet objectives and performer in effective way(Campbell, 2020). These are essentials to meet
and perform all function in effective way. I also defined that at the tile of treatment I observed
that a there are different function which have to be performed by me in order to meet needs.
These are related to changes in behaviour of other persons which are getting treatments in that
respective. due to my duties for the working nurse I am providing care to my patients.
Furthermore, there is an concerned dilemma that I am facing is I did not inform his family about
the surgery before confirming it to the doctor. Another ethical dilemma is the disclosure of the
medical records in health care by following the proper procedure for it. After proper analysis of
the past records of Jacob, I founded that the patient is suffering from anxiety issues. Thus, if I
inform the patient about the surgery then he might become anxious. But the patient have the right
to know about her medical conditions and the medical treatment that he will be going on. Then,,
my duty of nurse is also forcing me to inform the patient about his current medical condition. But
in this relation I have a confusion about whom should I follow either the ethical or the moral
decisions. However, the duties of the nurse in UK have helped me in taking an effective
decision(Moreno, 2020). The NICE framework in UK have developed rules for health care
workers that they should make decisions on evidence not on morality and emotions(NHS, 2020).
Thus after analysing the practical situation of the patient, I have informed Jacob about the
surgery and provided him enough motivation to avoid the stress about the surgery.
How the principles of informed choice and capacity impact on Duty of care:
According to the principles of informed choices, every individual should know some essential
points before taking decision for that treatment. The person should know the purpose of
treatment as well as its positive and negative findings. Sometimes there is a chance of incurring a
false report or not showing the disease in the report. In that case individual has a right to know
the chances of false results either positive or negative(Rosenkranz and et.al., 2020). The
individual also have the right to know the risk involved in that treatment or screening process.
After giving all this information the consent should be taken from the patient. Further, it creates
ethical dilemma also as a conflict between informed consent and Duty of care. In health care, so

many times nurses also face ethical dilemma while providing their services and it is needed to
use their nursing ethics or duty of care. This situation generally arise at the time when there is a
conflict between the individual rights and duty of care. In the present situation of Jacob, who is
injured in car accident, there is need to take consent of the patient Jacob in order to send him for
the surgery.
In order to maintain rights of informed consent and duty of care, the ethical dilemma that
is faced is to take informed consent(Tulloch, 2020). This dilemma is generally created in a
situation when decisions taken by the professionals is not able to be transferred to the family of
patient. Ethical dilemma occur where the situation to take the consent of the patient.
CONCLUSION
From the deep discussion above it is clear that every individual has a right to get a care on the
basis on focusing on the person not on other reason. It is morally wrong to discriminate patients
one basis of gender, race, colour, cast, etc. as every individual needs to care in the social and care
sector. An experience is discussed above to provide care to a person, Jacob, who is 30 years old
and had gone through a car accident. The proper care was provided to that person taking in mind
the concept of person centred care. Further, different policies, rules and regulations are set to
provide social and health care to people. The National health service (NHS) situated in United
Kingdom plays an essential role to treat people by maintaining inclusion, diversity and equality.
It is very important to follow holistic and person centred approach in social and health care. The
above concept focuses on giving informed choices to the patients and completing the treatment
and care on the basis of their preferences. After taking the approach treatment is provided to
Jacob by giving priority to his choices. Apart from that the Equality Act (2010) and the Care Act
(2014) is followed to hold communication and deliver treatment. Moreover, there is still an
ethical dilemma between the individuals' right and duty of care to provide them services. There is
vital role of duty care, according to this campaign one must adhere to a standard of reasonable
care which could affect a person well-being. As many cases reported in context of ethical issues.
Ethical issues state that one's private information should be in confidential, no one has right to
reveal one's disease, end-life-issues or any sexual transmisson disease. Since, after encounter of
these issues with someone, people start to discriminate them which is against the law of
