Quality- This represent quality of research as well as data collected or used for
conducting this research. This refers to content collected or used by researcher in this
report is very accurate and correct (Beringer, Jonas and Kock, 2018). In order to conduct
a effective research, researcher needs to collect or use more realistic data for different
sources so that valid conclusion can be drawn.
Risk- During conduction of this investigation, researcher needs to deal with various
risk. As Information is collected from different sources and accuracy of data is a risk for
this research. Secondary sources of data collection may leads to providing data which is
not correct or as per requirement of research.
Communication – Communication play a major role in conducting a successful research.
For collecting data and information research needs to communicate with various people
in market area. In order to find more accurate data, researcher needs to communicate with
different people such as customers, suppliers, staff members. This will help in gaining
successful outcomes of research. The researcher interacts with the managers of the
company about the progress in the research via e-mails and video-conferencing and the

P3. Produce a work breakdown structure and a Gantt chart to provide time frames and stages for
completion.
Breakdown structure
This is a methods which helps in dividing complex and large project into small parts.
Work breakdown structure is a tree hierarchical structure that break projects into manageable
portions. This is very helpful in assigning task and responsibility to different teams as well as
evaluating task performed by each and very team. Work breakdown structure helps large projects
by breaking down project into smaller components which leads to easily manage all task of
project. This is beneficial for organisation as it leads to reducing cost of projects as well as
determining timeline or schedule of project.
Gantt chart
This can be describe as a graphical representation of project or task schedule. This chart
was developed by Henry Gantt who is an American mechanical engineer. Gantt chart is in a form
of horizontal bar chart that is developed with motive of controlling production (DeFillippi,
2015). This chart includes start and finish dates of different components such as resources, task
milestones and so on which is necessary for project. This is an effective tool which is used in
management of a project and helps in planning of project. Gantt chart leads to provide clear
illustration about status of project.

Both of these two research method is mention below. In the current research, the researcher has
done qualitative research where he has selected 30 respondents and the incorporation of equality
and diversity in the hiring process has been researched by the researcher.
Quantitative research
This is a research methods that helps in evaluating collected data into numerical form.
Quantitative research is more systematic method of collecting and analysing data as well as
representing collected information in form of statistical or numbers. This type of research
includes correlation research, survey and experimental research (Dutta and Bose, 2015).
Quantitative research can be define as a systematic investigation for gathering quantifiable data
as well as performing computational techniques. Information or data collected in this research
can be done through online surveys, polls, questionnaire and so on.
Qualitative research
This type of methods is useful in collecting and underlying opinions or reasons.
Qualitative research methods helps in understanding and evaluating complete insight of specific
problem. This can be refer as a scientific method of collecting and gathering information for
further use. In this method, data is collected and analysed thorough personal interview, case
study, observation, record keeping, focus group etc. This research method is designed in such as
a manner that helps in revealing behaviour or perception of targeted audience. Information
collected though this method is more descriptive and clear inference can be drawn from
collected data.
For this research, researcher is using qualitative method. This types of method will help
in getting in-depth knowledge and understating about topic.
Data collection
This includes different methods that can be use for collecting and gathering data for
conducting effective research. Primary and secondary methods for collecting information will
help research to analyse and evaluate data into useful data.
Primary data
This is a methods of collecting and analysing first hand data which is not used earlier.
Data or information collected thought this method is known as original data and researcher who
collect this information is called as owner of data (Galloway and Haniff, 2015). There are
different ways to collect primary data such a interviews, online and offline surveys, observation,

focus group and so on. Collecting information through primary data is very useful as it leads to
providing more accurate information to researcher. Drawback of this is that it take more time and
involve huge cost in collecting new and accurate information. In this investigation, researcher is
using questionnaire as a primary data.
Secondary data
This is a data that has been already collected or used in other research. Secondary data is
gathered and collected through different sources such as reports, business journals, online data,
documents, books, magazines and so on. This can be refer as a data which has been already
collected through primary method. Research can use this method of collecting and analysing data
as it is very economical. This method helps in saving time as well as gathering information as it
is easy to collect (Hillson, 2017). Disadvantage of secondary method is that is does not provide
more accurate and in depth knowledge about topic. Secondary method of data collection used in
this report is books, documents, internet and various other sources.
Sample size
This is a term which is used to represent number of selected population. Sample size can
be refer as a numbers of respondents which is taken for large population. This is a effective
process that helps in finding out result from selected sample size. Chosen sample will represent
information about whole population. There are various techniques of sampling that can be used
for conducting a research such as random sampling, cluster sampling and probability sampling.
For this research, selected method is random sampling and sample size is 30 respondents and
these are the employees of organisation.
