Introduction
In order to run business in successful manner, this is essential for organisation to follow
fairness as well as multifariousness at work so that end and final results can be accomplished.
Here, equality and diversity at workplace are defined as providing equal opportunity to all
working force and taking account of difference among people, position and others (Badewi,
2016). The given report is based on McLeod and Partners that was headquarter at Brisbane, QLD
in 2005. It deals in doing research for their clients. This assignment mainly focusing to determine
challenges as well as issues that occurs because of sameness and heterogeneousness at working
place and resolve them. It covers project aims, objectives, time framework and research
methodological analysis for collection of information. The data analysis and interpretation has
done for questionnaire and accordingly reflection is written and recommendation is provided.
Background to Study
The main background of investigation work is to discovery main challenges and issues
that arises because of equality and diversity at workplace and finding best way to resolve them
(Barak, 2016). It is very important for respective organisation to treat their employees equally so
that they can attain set goal and objectives.

planning, executing, performing and concluding. This is essential to complete project work

project management plan are as follows:
Cost- This is referred as overall amount incurred for completing project work by
satisfying need and demand of consumers. In order to conduct research work affiliated to
justness as well as variety of people at working place, researcher requires £2000 to collect
complete data and information. Similarly, on other hand, respective organisation need 9000
pounds to gather accurate information and data in most effective manner. The budget is
prepared regarding cost for various activities and task to be completed within given time
period.
Scope- This is referred as most crucial components of undertaking administration
program. Before conducting investigating, it is important to know scope of project work assigned
to individual. In context of McLeod and Partners, scope is to know about issues and challenges
originate because of lack of sameness and diversity at working place and overcoming them
through proper measurements. Similarly, from researcher point of view, scope is to know reason
behind equality and diversity and their practices and measure to overcome problem in an
effectual as well as prompt mode. It is important to grab opportunity in appropriate manner.
Time- This is the element which is important for project management plan that indicate
time period for completing research work (Choi and Rainey, 2014). For time period, Gantt chart
is prepared to complete work within stipulated time. From researcher point of view, time taken to
complete their research work is 6 months. The respective organisation take 8 months to finish
assigned undertaking work in impressive as well as expeditious style.
Quality- It is the element of undertaking direction idea that aid in maintaining overall
quality of information to get positive results. Each and every data and information are collected
from appropriate and authenticate sources. The respective organisation has to gather information
along with quality from online and authenticate sources. Similarly, researcher has to keep
information and data to be confidential so that other cannot misuse it.
Communication- This is referred as procedure of transferring information and message

executed by project manager for accomplishment of aim and objectives by dividing work into
manageable sections. Main purpose is to making huge project into more manageable parts. It is
prepared by respective organisation to divided work into manageable section for achievement of
positive outcomes in an effective and efficient manner. WBS provide guideline to organisation to
perform their work in proper way.

It is very important to formulate strategy in order to maintain equality as well as diversity
at workplace. The strategies are equal opportunities, proper training and development session
and formulation of appropriate strategy to treat people in equal manner. From presented diagram,
it has concluded that out of 30 respondents 12 favours for equal opportunities, 7 said training and
development session and remaining 11 favours for formulation of strategy for equality and
diversity. The most suitable is providing equal opportunities in proper manner.
