…This project will look to research about different strategy through which Equality and diversity can be
maintain in the organization. The Aim o f the research is to identify the strategies adopted by the organization
regarding managing equality and diversity at the work place – A study based on ASDA.
2. What is the particular question you want your investigation to answer – i.e. your topic title?
 What do you mean by Equality and diversity at the workplace?
 What are different issue which is faced by the HR at the time of implementing different strategies in the
organization?
 What are the different type of strategies which can be applied in the organization to maintain Equality

 What are different ways through which ASDA can implement this strategy at workplace?

3. Why do you want to do this particular project?
Selecting this topic will help me in gaining the knowledge regarding the manager procedure which
can be adapted by different HR department in the organization manage the equality and diversity in
the organization. Not only that selecting this topic will also help me in developing in my career as well
as with the help of the research I will able to earn the variety of the knowledge and also will help me
in building the variety of the skill set which will help me at the time of conducting any other report in
the future. Another reason of doing this project is to understand the different management technique
and procedure which can be applied in the organization.
4. Describe briefly the main purpose of your investigation.
As in the past many researcher has already conducted such type of the study. This study is to gather more
information regarding Equality and Diversity strategy at the workplace. Another reason for conducting this
research is that all the organization is facing very difficult for them to manage the good amount of human
resources in the organization to carry out different operation of the business in the organization. As in the
rapidly changing environment and competition environment it is very difficult for the HR department to perform
the same in the organization. So this report will help them in understanding different Equality and diversity
strategy which can be brought in the organization. As equality and diversity will eventually help the company in
maintaining the good workforce in the organization.

E.g. Observation, Newspapers, Journal articles, Trade press Advertisements, People-using interviews or
questionnaires, Government statistics or other Documents.
Data collection is the method in which data is collected from various sources in the research process. Data
collection can be done in two ways i.e primary sources and secondary sources. When data is collected for the
first time from original source then it is known as primary method. In secondary method data is collected from
the source where data have already collected for other purpose. Primary data is collected by preparing of
questionnaires which is fill by the participants. Magazine, book, journals. are sources of collecting secondary
data. For collecting reliable and accurate data and make research unique and different from others both type
of sources have used in this research.
