INTRODUCTION
Equality and diversity defines the human right by maintaining the values of the society by
which every human being will get equal opportunity to achieve best of their potential. It is the act
that is free from any of the discrimination and the prejudice and also evaluates the better
environment that is more acceptable by all. Equality is all about to get ensure that people will not
get differentiate on the basis of their characteristic they all have the same opportunity in order to
gain the better life and a better future (Byrd, 2018). On the other hand the diversity is related to
the collection or the gathering of the large number of people that belongs from the different
areas, society, religion, caste, sex etc. It helps to generate positive surround and values among
the huge amount of people. Equality and diversity at the workplace promotes the
indiscrimination within the company by which every employee will be treated as special as
others and they all get the same opportunity to measure the higher success and more
development in their life. It is the report that is based on the Walmart that is the multinational
retailer of America that operates their business with the long chain of supermarkets, departmental
stores and grocery stores as well. It was founded in the year 1962 by Sam Walton and having
headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas. This report includes the different aims and objectives
that have been chosen by the human resource manager in order to promote equality and diversity.

and techniques.

P1) Devise project aims and objectives for a chosen scenario
To improvise the different and equal job opportunity and the fairness for the employees
that is working in the company. It helps to change the mindset of the employees and replicate a
feeling that they are also very much needed part of the company. It also raises the working
standard of the business and imparts more market value that helps to maintain better
sustainability within the company (Hughes, 2018). As from the performance and the compassion
of the employee get enhanced as they feel very much acceptable that brings more positivism in

develop and motivate the employees and they could also gain the collective and integrated
outcome that improvises the profit of the company.

P2) Produce a project management plan
The abbreviation PMP stands for project management plan that work as a formal, well-

project. This is beneficial for organisation to determine the deliverable that are essential for
completing the overall project. Moreover, some essential components for project management
plan are as follow:
Cost- This is an important component for all action and activities that are undertaken
with in the project. With an effective projected cost it is easy to determine overall cost of project
in order to complete each activity effectively (Nachmias, 2019). The main motive of cost
analysis is to carry out each activity within decided budget. In context of researcher the estimated
cost for completion of research is £ 250 that is used to pay expenses related with travel, purchase
of resources and other variable expenses.
Time- This is essential for all individuals engage in research and it is divided among two
different section in which first weeks are stated to decide project topic, introduction and
guidance to manage research and upcoming weeks are used for proper data analysis and

Resources- The term resource refers to all those tools, method, machine and techniques
that are required to complete decided project. From the point of WALMART, all departments
required various resources for implementing modifications among organisation. Internet and
machines are most essential resources for organisation. On other side, research is complete with
help of laptops, team-members, internet and printer.

Gantt chart- The main function of Gantt chart is to demonstrate the time that is provided
to each activity which is assigned to them. It represents the whole information in an effective
manner in the form of chart and visual representation. This is also beneficial to analyse the
information and monitor the efforts that are implemented by individuals while completing all
project. Researcher utilise and formulate Gantt chart to analyse effectiveness of project and it
helps to know about the allocate time for each activity in order to complete essential task first.

Work Breakdown structure: It is the deliverable hierarchical that is based on the
orientation or the decomposition of the work. It has been used execute the whole task or the

component will be developed by which more accurate result will be obtained rather than the

Quantitative method: It is the systematic investigation that is based on the observation
