Seminars: With this school authority and teachers can interact with the students and
know what are their views and what all things they can do.
3.2 Impact of own behaviour on organisation's culture in relation to equality.
As an equality and diversity coordinator it is my duty to set my behaviour by keeping
organisation culture in mind. Our school has always promoted equality and diversity and
believed in shaping students mind without any discrimination. Every act of discrimination and
harassment is taken on the serious note. I will talk to every student in polite manner so that they
can feel free in sharing their problems or innovative ideas with me. I will try to check my
attitudes and behaviour against the organisational policies(Badger, and et. al., 2012). I will
implement only those practice which is beneficial and promotes equality and diversity. School
has become the reputed institute in the area so I need to make sure that I also increase my level.
3.3 Promotion of the diversity with other agencies.
With this concept there are lots of benefits as it brings inclusiveness of the society in
large. Services like workshops delivered by different agencies can help in promoting diversity as
those who are taking part will develop skills and overcome the difficulties. There can be
educational fairs which will help scholar to know about different career paths. Guest speakers
from various professional backgrounds can be called upon to deliver non biased issues in the
education industry. Different counsellors can be invited who will be counselling the students and
teachers and they can help them in dealing with the stress and the education related issues.
TASK 4
4.1 Actions to determine diversity and equality
Actions which are used in order to determine diversity and equality includes that there
should not be any consequences of discrimination among the staff members and when services
are offered to the customers. If any persons notice this kind of practices than they should report it
to the authorities who are available at Learning Programmes so that they can take appropriate
actions in order to solve them and ensures that they are not repeated again in order to achieve
good and best results(Jackson and Irwin, 2011). There should be timely training and
development activities organised so that employees know how they had to treat there employees
so that they help Learning Programmes to gain potential employees who can do the work in
effective ways in order to increase their sales and profit ratios. Various disciplinary programmes

should be established at business places which helps in making the workers about the importance
of equality and diversity policies at National Health Institutes.
4.2 Modification to the system and structure which negatively effect equality and diversity.
There are lots of modification which can be proposed to the existing system that do not
promote equality and diversity. This can be initiated with a policy acting as guideline which are
given by the governing regime. Such policies should be used or stick up and those issues which
faces some concern can be recorded in a register or any other document. It is made sure that
whatever policy is made should be updated on regular time period or annually. We have
appointed some external individuals who will inspect the quality and they will give a report for
the recommendations which needs to be updated in the policies(Thakur and et. al., 2014). We are
liable to give all the necessary data and information to our stakeholders related to equality and
diversity. This information will be added in the induction programs so that both learner as well
as teacher can know about it. There are lots of loopholes in the telephone technology so more
investments will be done on the newer technology devices.
TASK 5
5.1 Own strengths in promoting equality and diversity.
Through self reflection I can always reflect on myself to promote equality and diversity.
This way I can know my plans and resources. While teaching I record all my lectures and after
that I watch them and analyse about the lack of qualities I have. To know my strengths and
weakness I take feedback from my subordinates. With this the top authority members appraisal
in every year will give me a crystal clear picture about my strengths. After all this I can execute
all the recommendation given to me and this include changing in the behaviour and attitudes. I
will encourage those communication skills which promote equality and diversity.
5.2 Evaluation of the impact of own practice in promoting equality & diversity.
To promote equality and diversity there are many activities which I can implement. This
can be started by following the policy given by the school and made them in sequence. Any
issues which I think can create problem or can damages the equality and diversity will be
reported to the higher rank officials(Celik, and et. al., 2012). Through reading the policies I will
do certain modification. I will request stallholders to update any information regarding equality
and diversity policy. Through student feedback I can evaluate myself.
