In this new era of technology most of the business firms starting from medium to small
are making their focus on Information Technology applications. For this particular project
proposal the nominated company is DesignCrowd software Private Limited. This company offers
accounting software to their companies. With changing time period the numbers of users for the
company is increasing rapidly. In order to manage large set of data manual data management
system was not at all standing effective.
In order to resolve some operational and functional challenges the company is looking for
upgrading their data management from the manual one to an automated one. The company is
willing to implement ERP software for mitigating the multiplatform issues by improving the
performance in a down economy and standardized business practices. It is assumed that, if ERP
software is successfully installed in the software development company then the company’s
business effectiveness and business efficiency will improve measurably.
Project aims and objectives
The aim of the project is to implement ERP software in DesignCrowd software Private
Limited, located in Australia. It is found that, much similar service providing companies are
there which offers equally services and causing high level of competition. The aim of the project
is to analyze its functions and offerings. Based on operational activities the company needs to
choose the most suitable ERP vendor.

After analyzing the details operational and functional activities offering of DesignCrowd
software Private Limited it has been defined that, in order to implement the ERP project 8
months will be enough. In order to accomplish the ERP implementation project, it is mandatory
to subdivide the entire project in to smaller activities. Based on the complexity of each task
resources a time will be assigned. It becomes the responsibility of project resources to complete
the assigned activities with the estimated time only. If addition time is spend on any activity
then it will result overrunning cost. The start date and finish date assigned for the project are
respectively 4/16/2019 and 12/20/2019. With timely progress the assigned time may vary or take
additional time to complete any sub activity. The total time can either increase or decrease.
Project stakeholders
For this particular project the assigned project stakeholders are project manager, finance
manager, system designer, developer, application programmer, coder, DBA, operation manager,
technical experts and system tested. As soon as the project is prepared it become the
stakeholder’s responsibility to complete the project within that time period. The roles and

responsibilities of the project stakeholders are assigned considering their power and level of
interest.
Project benefits
The issues with time consumptions and over loaded cost will also be resolved after the
implementation of the ERPS system in DesignCrowd software Private Limited. Moreover, the
rate of consumer satisfaction also gets improved with this implementation plan. In fact, the
overall security of the system will also be improved a lot with this application.

The different teams considered for this particular project are technical team, legal team,
finance department. The roles serve by each of the team are as follows:

Initial risk identification
For accomplishing the project successfully, before implementation the project manager
needs to identify the potential risks that may interrupt the success of the project. For this ERP
implementation project the possible risks are technical risks, legal risks, operational risks,
overrunning cost, over allocation of budget, improper communication and lack of skill and
knowledge among the project team members.
Expected outcomes
It is expected that, if an ERP system is implemented in DesignCrowd software Private
Limited then the company would be able to give high level competition, system efficacy,
effectiveness etc. It can increase operational reliability, flexibility, scalability and collaboration
