Involvement by me within the group assignment:
Considering the group project of us I have helped my fellow group members by
choosing and selecting proper ERP systems for the organisation Radiance Dry Cleaners. As a
part of contribution I have also evaluated the selected ERP systems. To give this assignment a
proper shape firstly I selected five ERP systems for the selected organisation. Then among
the five ERP system I efficiently shortlisted three of the ERP system. Then I elaborated the
three ERP systems briefly. In this context I have also give an idea why the selected ERP
systems are very much important to satisfy the Radiance dry cleaners business requirement. It
was previously assessed that the Radiance Dry Cleaners are having problems with manual
data entry and this problem becomes more disruptive during the peak hours of the
organisation. Thus I have mainly focused on the issue regarding the data entry. To
demonstrate my thoughts academic journals several of academic journal is used by me.
My influence in this project also assisted my fellow team members to explore deeply
on the ERP system as they need to implement some recommendation to implement the ERP
systems in a correct way for the organization Radiance Dry Cleaners. To develop the detailed
evaluation plan I have conducted a gap analysis in this context. To perform the gap analysis I
have taken the help of my team members and internet sources. Also a brief research has been
done by me on the vendors of the ERP system.
Team work and the learning experience:
When this report was prepared by me and my team members several of learning
experience has been achieved by me. For this assignment while I was working on appropriate
ERP structures for the Radiance Dry Cleaners my team members explored the market for the
ERP solution and they have also done a feasibility analysis on the ERP systems that has been
evaluated in this context. I have learned that communication was a big factor for us as we

need to update the project progress frequently and for sharing the knowledge. As the
communication was a big factor for us, overall communication skills of us increased in this
case.
Also problem solving skills has been successfully enhanced due to working as a
group. By forming a group our collaboration skills has been successfully improved. From the
overall scenario I can also state that our ability of decision making has been also enhanced in
this case. We were able to execute our progress faster due to the improved decision making
skills.
Also I have observed that our productivity has been also increased when compared to
the past. As per my observation the productivity of us increased due to the collaboration
among us as we were always there to help each other regarding this group assignment. As we
worked together as a team our problem solving skills enhanced and we were able to solve the
problems faster. We were also able to enhance our creativity as the problem solving skills of
us improving. Also our research has been also improved due to the problems we have faced
when we were on the market research for the perfect ERP system for the Radiance Dry
Cleaners.
