Contributions to the Group Experience
Everyone in the group has contributed in order to make the project successful. The
contributions that are made by me in the assignment is that I have done the first part of the
assignment that is researching about the ERPs that is very important for the project as the
other half of the assignment is based on this selection of ERP software in the market. I have
also researched about the criteria by which the ERP softwares are to be selected and they are
to be evaluated. I have also done the short-listing of the ERPs and I have evaluated the ERPs
so that it becomes easier for the other group members to recommend the SWDC Company
with appropriate ERP software. It will also help other team members to carry out a proper
feasibility analysis of the ERP softwares that are short-listed.
I have also done the evaluation of the ERP softwares those are shortlisted and then
performing the gap analysis of the ERP solutions by matching with the requirements of the
SWDC organization. While doing this, I have taken in consideration the “To Be” processes of
the company while doing the gap analysis. I have also done the research about the ERP
architectures that are helpful for the SWDC Company and the architecture mainly include
SOA, cloud and monolithic. While doing this research about the architecture of the ERPs, I
have also researched about the implications that are related to the architecture of ERP. This
research has helped my team members to complete the assignment successfully.
Learning Experience
Communication is key in any group assignments. In this assignment, communication
was essential. There were good communication among my team members and me. First I
have studied the case study about the SWDC company and the operations of the company
and the areas where the company is lacking. Then my team members and I sat for a group
discussion where I have made them understand about the case study and the areas where

company is lacking. They have also read the case study well and communicated well with me
when I was doing my part in the assignment.
Problem solving is an important part of the assignment as the questions are tricky and
they need to be analysed critically. The team members have read the case study repeatedly
and they have researched a lot about the various ERPs that were present in the market. As I
was doing the first part, we discussed about the various ERPs and how they can be
implemented and the way the feasibility analysis can be done of the various ERPs that are
shortlisted. Therefore, the problem was solved and the assignment was done successfully.
The group development was good to accomplish the objectives for the project that
were given to us. The team members were hardworking and they have researched on the topic
in order to solve the problems. They have studied the case study repeatedly before starting the
assignment and we achieved in completing the assignment. The learning experience was
great while doing the assignment and we got to learn about the various ERPs that are there in
the market and they have given equal efforts in accomplishing the project.
