Richards Antiques Imports (RAI) owned by Richard.
Started business 25 years ago with 50 employees.
At present the business attained a substantial growth in the
commercial market
Company growth resulted in new challenges in the internal
services such as managing customer data, maintaining the
same level of service, tracking the suppliers, purchasing of
items, shipping company details and the delivery dates.
Implementation of an ERP system was vital (Mostaghel et. al.
2015).
To get served with the solutions, Richard attended a workshop
where he learnt about the benefits about the implementation of
an ERP system in a business.

Odoo – This ERP system was founded by Fabien Pinckaers in 2005 in

Sage - This ERP system was founded by David Goldman, Paul Muller and

Inventory and Warehouse Management
Oracle Netsuite - This ERP system was founded by Evan Goldberg in 1998
in California. The modules are financial management, supply chain
management, order management, production management, warehouse and
procurement (Li, Chang and Yen 2017).

requirements of RAI, the company
needs a detailed account on number
of items purchased, cost, number of
customers and their frequency, busy
periods and profits.
For that the best three ERP systems
will be Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo and
Sage (Chou, Hung and Chang 2013).
These three ERP systems are
purposefully chosen becaause these
three ERP systems make the top list
of the ERP list.
Moreover, these three ERP systems
indulges in meeting the requirements
of the business such as the business
