Change management is a process in which different changes found from the collected
data of the public sectors. There are so many advantages of making changes in the processes but
it is also a tough work in the public sector organizations. In this paper, author includes different
method of the public sector to find out barrier of the organization. Change management is based
on different things, such as digital technologies. Digital technologies are a way in which it
provides advantages of the processes and it is avoiding delays in the processes by which public
sectors are affected in different manner. Digital technologies are helpful for the collection of the
data from the different processes of the public sector organizations. There are so many loopholes
in the processes and they are barrier for the growth of the public sectors (Anderson, Wu, Cho, &
Schroeder, 2015).
There are so many methods for change management but information technology is
making huge changes in the field of public sector organizations. ERP implementation in the local
government agency is having so many advantages. Thus, reporting is so simple with the help of
ERP system. Therefore, monitoring is easier and it will be helpful for changes in the process as
well as employees working in the system (Bharadwaj, El Sawy, Pavlou, & Venkatraman, 2013).
Information Communication Technology (ICT) is making desirable changes in the field
of public sector organizations. Local governments are following old systems and they are not
worthy for the public. Introducing of the ERP system in the field of government sector is helpful
for removing the barrier for the growth of the public sectors. There are so many barriers but due
to lack of the data, they remain in the system. Therefore, it must require avoiding them using the
digital technology (Fernandez & Rainey, 2006).
ERP systems are showing the data and it is useful for analysis of the particular
organization’s processes. It shows about the barrier of the organization for their growth.
Therefore, ERP system is beneficial for the changes in the processes. Change management is a
process to remove the barrier of the growth for an organization. There are so many changes
required but few changes were planned and anticipated. Although, all the plans are not executed
properly. However, few plans are making changes in the current system. Government and
management failed in the implementation of the changes as per the requirements. However,
failures are provides data to changes in the system according to their needs. That paper is having
