According to the Bradford, (2015), Enterprise Resource Planning technology is one of the best
technology used in the business as a software that allows an organization to use the several
integrated applications and manage the business in a proper manner. ERP system is most
important in the mining project related to the cross-national joint venture. The companies related
to China, India and Australia are included which works on the particular mining project. As an
IT consultant, it is suggested that the ERP software is very beneficial for the company’s works in
the mining project. This technology is one of the best technology that is used for the company
profits. This technology is also responsible for increasing the value of the company in the related
market. Several processes are used in the process of the enterprise system. The enterprise
software is very beneficial for the organization and it implement several benefits to the
organization. This is an enterprise application meant for the large business organization and it
creates several profits for the organization.
As per the views of Sudhaman and Thangavel, (2015), this application used to analyze the data
and upgrade the several process of the organization. This application also used for small business
for making the small solutions upgraded. The ERP system is mainly used to manage the supply
chain management and track all the moving parts of the distribution and manufacturing process.
All the systems of the organization like customer management, human resource management and
business management comes together and makes several benefits for the elated organization.
According to the Panayiotou, et al., (2015), ERP system creates a proper value of the mining
project and makes it common to the people and customers. ERP is responsible for maximize the
value of project and organization as this is software application that improves the overall process
of the organization. All the business functions managed by this software application and make an
integrated system.
Uses of ERP in projects
According to the Olson , et al., (2018), ERP system is mainly used in the mining projects and
different organizations for maintaining the different systems at one place and increases the
profitability and productivity of an organization. ERP is a business management software that
included the several integrated applications that interpret the data from these many business
activities. The project needs to implement the ERP system in the project to main the various
systems and activities in the business. The ERP system creates several process that makes the
project easier for other people. This technology increases the value of the project, as there are
many issues and challenges in this system application software. The main issues arise at the time
of the implementation of software. All the business requirements are affected due to the issues
arises in the implementation of software.

challenges, as this is the main part of the Enterprise system and software. The implementation of
Enterprise Resource Planning includes the installing of software and moving your data of finance
to the new system. This is a very difficult task for every organization and it needs more efforts in
the mining project. An IT consultant of mining project needs to use the ERP system in the related
project and make the integration of systems easier.
According to the Agaoglu, et al., (2015), it is important to choose the right partner in the
Enterprise implementation as it helps in the implementation. As per the knowledge of the
managers of organization, ERP system is very beneficial for the business and it improves the
productivity and profitability of the organization bur there are many issues ad challenges that
affects the process of the ERP implementation. The implementation or adoption is the main
process of ERP because without implementation, ERP does not work at own level. The ERP
implementation takes a particular time in the large project as mentioned in the mining project. In
this project, all the steps needs to be implemented successful and on time. Before implementing
the ERP system, it is essential to select the right ERP software that is used in the overall business
process. The correct ERP technology is necessary for the better growth of business.
According to the Goyal and Vohra, (2012), ERP platform is very secure and affordable for the
several business organization. The implementation of the project include various stages in the
process of implementation that is discovery, plan and monitor, analyze, build, stabilize, deploy
and post go live. All these process are used in the stages of implementation. The issues occurred
in the ERP implementation create many problems in the mining project and affect the overall
process of the business project. By using the ERP system the organizational project become
successful in the market and attract the consumers towards the project.
Issues of ERP
According to the Amid, et al., (2012), Enterprise Resource systems increase the interest of the
entrepreneurs and make the organization more successful in the market. ERP gains several
advantages by the implementation process in the organization. The problems occurred in the
Enterprise implementation makes the project difficult and create many disadvantages of the
organizational growth. The Enterprise system is widely used in the business and it offers the
several solutions regarding the problems of the organization. ERP is used in the business
organizations. Small- business organizations also used the ERP systems in their process to define
the business value.
As per the views of Aguirre, et al., (2012), these organizations can increase the customer
attractions and increases their profitability. However, the several challenges occurred in the
Enterprise implementation, as it is difficult process used to integrate the applications. The issues
create many problems in the overall process of the organization and in the mining project that
needs to increase the value in the market. All the challenges and issues are different in different
business and different areas. The problems needed to be categorized as per the differences in the
business. Several issues arise in the Enterprise implementation are described below-

Challenge 1 Selection Problem
According to the Nordin and Adegoke, (2015), the selection problem is one of the important
issue arise in the Enterprise Resource Planning. The selection of ERP systems is very difficult, in
which we need to analyze properly before implementing the ERP system. The selection problem
is one of the biggest challenge that needs to be considered in the mining project and it decreases
the value of the technology in the organization. The selection problem is one of the biggest issue
that included in the Enterprise Resource Planning implementation process. To launch a
managerial information project the ERP implementation is necessary and all of these issues are
arise due to the proper selection of the project. However, the implementation of ERP becomes
easier in the mining project. There are various functions included in the project to maintain the
overall process of the implementation.
Challenge 2 Data Quality Issues
As per the views of Babaei, et al., (2015), the data quality issues are essential in the Enterprise
system implementation as the data and information is the most important part of the ERP system.
The whole system depends on the data and information so the quality of data needs to be proper
and there is no consideration regarding the data quality. The mining project also faces the data
quality issues in the process of the implementation.
According to the Elmonem, et al., (2016), as the mining project use the Enterprise Resource
Planning system first time, that is why the project faces many issues regarding the quality. The
company that uses the system first time faces this issue. The company moves their data in the
new system in the overall process of the implementation so the data quality is also affected. In
the mining project, this issue us very critical ad in the mid time of the project the organization
can change the data and it affects the overall quality of the data.
Challenge 3 Technical Issues
According to the Haddara and Elragal, (2015), the ERP implementation is totally based on the
technology and uses several technical features in the organization. The mining project is totally
based on the technical features so there are many issues arise in the related project. The technical
issues are arise in the whole process and it affects the overall process of the software
implementation.
As per the views of Seethamraju, (2015), this can decrease the value of the company and distract
the mind of the customers. The project occurred at the different workstations so the workstations
need to be proper way and have all facilities regarding the implementation. If the facilities are
not there then the several technical issues are arise which affects the overall system of the ERP
implementation.
Challenge 4 Mind shift Issues
As per the views of Dixit and Yadav, (2011), this issue is most difficult and it is not easy to
resolve. If the mind shift issue is arise then the software implementation did not success in the
market and the whole ERP implementation fails in these issues. The system implementation

includes several logical process and these processes are responsible for the issues occurred in the
implementation process.
According to the Myreteg, (2015), however, many of the times this issues cannot be resolved and
it fails the whole ERP system from the project. The mining project not faced these type of issues,
as the system is not fail in the whole process and gets some of the profits in the ERP system.
Challenge 5 Business philosophy changes
According to the Sun, et al., (2015), ERP implementation occur many change in the overall
business and it affects the model of the organization. The company faced drastic changes in the
process of the enterprise implementation. The philosophy of every business is different and these
philosophies create many changes in the business functions. The mining project also faces some
of the changes regarding the business functions. These changes occurred by the employee’s
responsibility because sometimes the employees become irresponsible in the business activities
and create many difficulties in the process. The business model and process create massive
changes in the mining project and it creates many real-time opportunities. The data availability is
also included in the massive changes of the overall organization.
Description of challenges of ERP
As per the views of Wang, (2015), the above challenges decrease the value of the technology in
the business system. Enterprise planning system is used to maximize the value of the technology
in the use of the specific system in the business project. The Enterprise system creates the
integration of the different systems and it affects the overall quality of the data related to the
project. The cross joint venture includes the mining project which uses the implementation of
ERP in the project to maintain the attraction of customers.
As per the views of Nwankpa, (2015), this process improves the profitability of the organization
and maintains the productivity of the organization. The challenges also affect the overall process
of the organization. The complexity of data and data entry affects the overall process of the
organization. Data collection is also a great challenge in the ERP system, which decreases the
profit of the company.
According to the Rajan and Baral, (2015), the data management is one in the ERP system and it
requires direct cost for the maintenance of data. The time and cost to enter or update data affect
the overall cost of the organization. The indirect costs are related to the data quality issues and
manual data entry. The data quality issues affect the indirect costs and it affects the overall
business operations. Indirect costs recover the data quality issues and complete a business
process. As the ERP, system is very much beneficial for the organization as it integrates the
several business activities and collections. The ERP system creates many benefits for the
business and in the mining project, this system handles the overall challenges and issues
occurred in the business process. ERP achieve success in the organization while handling the
issues and it create many profit in the organization. The different system integrates the several
planning in the ERP and in this various process is integrated at one place. This gives several
benefits to the business as well as the mining project. The overall business improved by using the
