INTRODUCTION
Atlantis is a fictional island mentioned in an allegory on the hubris of nations in Plato's
works Timaeus and Critias, where it represents the antagonist naval power that besieges
"Ancient Athens", the pseudo-historic embodiment of Plato's ideal state in The Republic. Present
report will lay emphasis on the past there was a city called Atlantis which experienced a
catastrophe and sunk beneath the waves. It will lay emphasis on the basis of this weird claim that
was been made in the past. All these dimensions will be covered in the report.
MAIN BODY
It has been analysed that the scientist claim that there was a fictional island in the past which
is popularly known as the Atlantis. There are various claims which have been made on the
presence of this island in the past (Smyth, (2017). It has been evaluated by the research that
Atlantis Island has gone through a catastrophe which has made the island sunk beneath the
waves. Some of the researchers has agreed to the hypothesis and considered it as to be true.
Scientist has provided with the information that the story related to Atlantis Island is not a myth
and there are evidences which can make it look true. Some people also considered it as this
theory can be related to the infamous myth of the Plato.
It has been analysed that some of the Geologist agrees that the weird claim which has been
made on the Atlantis are true. Many people has also provided with the theory that Atlantis was
found to be in the Mediterranean city, off the coast in Spain. These theories are been running for
about 2300 years. Some Geologists has also claimed that this Island was found to be even under
the Antarctica. Many scientists has believed that the myth of the Atlantis Island is been linked
with that of Thera (Corrêa, (2020). The people who have survived on that island are been
involved in telling that this island was been destroyed beneath the waves. They have provided
the information that the life existed on this Island. They have also provided with some scientific
information which has been related to the ability of the entire island to get sunk beneath sea.
There were also so many investigations on this frame work which has been provided by the
people who have survived through it. The scientist has involved in conducting the survey based
on the region, it has provided with the details about the submerged debris which can be find out
in that area. There were also some of the people, scientist and geologist which do not believe
about this, they have been considering as the myth from past so many years. Some of the
scientist has believed that there are number of islands which has disappeared, this had made them

believe that there are chances that the Atlantis Island can also get sunk beneath the sea. There
were also various other claims which were been made by the people, scientist and even
geologist. All these claims are under evaluation and the possible research is been made upon it.
They are engaged in making sure whether the hypothesis which has been made by the
people are right or wrong. The researchers are also been involved in going for an alternative
hypothesis for the Atlantis Island. There are huge number of arguments and debates taken place
for the subject matter provided. Some of the evidences provided are in favour of hypothesis
made and also some of them are against the claim that has been made by the people or even
scientists. Some scientist has also provided that the Atlantis may be sinking because of the high
sea waves (Simpson, (2016). There are also chances that tsunami has also occurred in the era.
The scientist believes that tales are tales and they can be manifested and change in whatever
shape required. Some scientist has also provided the Atlantis was a real life continent and was
lost and found under the Europe. It can be taken as the one of the biggest mystery of the earth.
Plato has wrote about this island, he has provided the information that the mighty empire has
been vanished under the sea and that too several million years ago. Many scientist has been
involved in finding out the true information related to the claim. Plato has provided the
information that the island was vanished after the occurrence of flood and earthquake in that
area. He has provided the details that nature has disrupted the Atlantis Island. It has been
considered as one of the biggest history which the earth has possessed. The new research of the
so many scientists has provided the information that lost continents are thing and that the Plato
was not making any type of fake assumptions.
Some of the scientist still not believes on the hypothesis which has been made by the
scientist and some of them believe. It has been a mystery and geologist and researchers are trying
to solve it. The lost continents has also affected hugely on the human life and also in the way
which was not expected by the Plato. A-in-depth deep research needs to be made by the scientist
on this unsolved mystery (Franke, (2020). They also need to be involved in collecting large
number of evidences on the claim which has been made such as the island sink under the sea
waves. Douwe van Hinsbergen, a geologist at Utrecht University in the Netherlands, is been
involved in finding out the answer to the unsolved mystery about the lost island. They have
provided the information that the lost continents or island are not been fully lost just like the
civilization. Some of the debris can still be presented over there and they are been involved in

searching for the evidences related to the same. It has also been analysed that the Island and
Continents are not the regular fixtures of the Earth. They can be devastated such as in the form
they have been created. There are various claims that have been made up by the scientist on the
occurrence and going beneath the sea about Atlantis Island. The claims which have been made
are still to be proved (Summers, (2017). Many geologists and scientist has been involved in
proving the weird claim made upon the Island. Some of them have even considered it as myth
and some believe that the continent can be lost in a span of time because of the natural disaster
taking place.
It has also been analysed that all the claims that has been made are not yet proven some of
the scientist has also taken it as weird. They thought that the Island happens to be there and also
disappears with the span of time. Other claims were also been made up by the scientist and
geologist. They have been involved in fighting out the truth related to all claims which has been
made. This has required in-depth research which they have been probably doing. They are
finding answers to all the unsolved questions related to this Atlantis mystery. There were also
some of the theories which was been made up about the Atlantis Island. It was analysed that this
was been found in mid Atlantic Ocean and got sunk beneath the waves. It was considered as the
most historical place. It has been analysed that after a long time and Understanding of plate
tectonics poked holes in his shifting-waters thesis, some of the people has taken this theory true
but some of the scientist still not believe to this theory. They say that it can be considered as
myth and can be fictional in nature. They can or cannot believe it. There was also other theory
that Atlantis the Island was also been swallowed up by the Bermunda triangle. In this the
scientist believe that this Island may be there and also they have analysed that the walls that were
been linked with this Island (Romero et.al., (2019). They believe that this Island was been
located off the Bahamas and has been swallowed up by the triangle. They also feel like the life
existed over there but somehow the continent has been swallowed up. These theories were been
made up by the some of the famous scientist and they are also been involved in finding the
evidence related to the same. There were also some other alternative hypothesis that was been
made on the Atlantis . It has been analysed that Atlantis was a mythical retelling of the Black Sea
Flood. In this time, the scientist provided the details that Black sea has fresh water and the life of
Atlantis existed and some how it got devastated. The reason for the same has considered to be

found. The scientist were also involved in collecting the evidence for the same. This was been
done by them from quiet some time. They are trying to prove the theory right.
CONCLUSION
From the above study it has been summarized that Atlantis was a real life continent and was
lost and found under the Europe. It can be taken as the one of the biggest mystery of the earth.
Some of the scientist has also provided the information that the Island was been undertaken
beneath the sea. Various other theories are also been made on the weird claim that has been
passed on by so many people and scientists. So many geologists are also been working towards it
and finding answers to the unsolved mystery related to this island. It has also been analyzed that
Island and Continents are not the regular fixtures of the Earth. They can be devastated such as in
the form they have been created. It has been analyzed that some of the scientists has considered
these facts and myth and they have also been telling this as the source of storytelling. The lost
continents has also affected hugely on the human life and also in the way which was not
expected by the Plato. It has also been analyzed that the in-depth research has been done by the
scientist for the subject matter that has been provided to them.
