Chapter 23
The chapter 23 of The Everyday Bible Study talks about Jesus criticizing the teachers
of the law as well as the Pharisees. The chapter is notable for Jesus showing an angry
demeanour for his criticisms of the Pharisees, which was unlikely owing to his gentle and
calm nature. Although Jesus appreciates the teaching methods of the Pharisees, he seems
critical of the misdeeds of the Pharisee and laments for the fate of Jerusalem in which he tells
his followers about their sins and how it is those sins that are going to destroy the temple in

Chapter 24
In chapter 24 of the Bible, Jesus makes his most apocalyptic message of the end of the
world. His disciples question Jesus about the prediction and when the world is coming to an
end as predicted by Jesus himself. Jesus answers them about the questions that his followers
had regarding the end of the world and the second coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus also warns
his followers about false prophets who would try to mislead the followers of Jesus as well as
others into doing misdeeds. This chapter tells the readers to ask God for help against the
power of Satan (Keller, 2013).
Chapter 25
The chapter 25 of The Bible talks about the kingdoms and how the kingdoms are
waiting for their ruler to rule them. What this chapter means is that the God is considered as
the ruler of all the kingdoms and it is he who will be the ruler of the kingdoms. The chapter
also talks about how the son of man will be the ultimate juror of all the kingdoms in all the
nations in the world. As stated by Pitre (2013), the chapter indirectly refers to the nations to
accept Jesus Christ as the saviour of the nations as well as the one who will judge both the
rights and the wrongdoings of the nations. Therefore, to summarize the chapter, it can be said

that chapter 25 of the Bible talks about the kingdoms of the nations to abide by what is right
as well as what is wrong.
Chapter 26
Chapter 26 of the Bible tells the readers about how the high priests as well as the
elders plan to have Jesus captured and punished for criticizing the methods in Bethany.
However, they did not as this would lead to the repercussions from the people. The chapter
also summarizes how they were preparing for the Passover while a woman gets rebuked by
his disciples for anointing him with oil. The chapter also focuses on how Judas Iscariot
betrays Jesus and Peter denies knowing Jesus. Thus, the chapter focuses on the last chapter of
