Describe the events and the experience
The group communication is one of the most essential and integral part of the day to day
business affairs. Without proper communication it is really very tough to implement any
particular business idea. One has to make sure that all the members in the group are putting
forward a joint collaborative effort in order to make sure that they are being able to achieve the
target as well.
I think that the group activity that we have undertaken really helped us a lot in order to
understand the importance of maintaining a proper connection between and transparent
communication between each other. One of the important aspects that are used by the managers
and the leaders to carry on the communication is the Golden rule. I have learnt from this
assignment that while conducting some group meetings there are issues among the members. As
is seen from the case the four members were not happy with the ways in which all of them used
to carry on the meetings (Bhaskaran et al., 2015). It is for this reason that Ari, Ron, Sam and
other members did not really like to cope up with the each other.
As per the theory given by Sinek, the leaders must be using the question why in order to
carry on the focus of their work in a proper way. In other words, I think that all the 4 partners
that were involved in the group project must have questioned themselves as to why the
communication is not taking properly within their group. I think that as it is evident from the
given case that the one of the member was about to get shifted to a new geographical location,
the other members must have kept it in mind that there will be some problems in the

In other words, they have to make sure that they are being able to consider all the options
like appointing a devil’s advocate, Increase group size, heterogeneity, Remove physical

I have come to learn about the proper relationship between the listening, interruption and
the agreement. In order to carry on the communication properly, I have to make sure that there is
a clear and transparent communication that is being carried on properly. I felt that during the
ongoing course of the assignment, I had some problems in understanding what the team lead was
saying. Initially I felt that the team leader was not very clear. I realized that I was not being able
to understand what was being conveyed in the class. It was during the sessions and the seminars
that I came to know about the issue that was present within me (Harris and Sherblom, 2018). I
realized that I am becoming very restless.
I need to make sure that I am not losing my listening ability. I have to make sure that I
am trying to listen to all the bits and pieces of the news that are being conveyed in any team
meeting. I can do this only if I am working over my concentration level. I have to make sure that
I am being able to recollect the news after I hear them (Oetzel, 2017). I have also undergone
some kinds of changes in my thought. I will be able to do this only if I know how to react to the

realized that in order to carry on a smooth and uninterrupted interpersonal communication I have
