AI Summary
This essay argues in defense of hard copy books, highlighting their unique qualities and enduring value in the digital age. The author summarizes a text discussing the rise of electronic books and then presents a counter-argument emphasizing the sensual and emotional experience of reading physical books. The essay contends that hard copy books offer a better reading experience, aiding in information recall and fostering a deeper connection with the reader. Unlike tablets, books have texture, weight, and a personal history. The essay suggests that the decline of books would negatively impact humanity, viewing e-readers as a temporary deviation from the evolutionary path of reading. It supports the idea that printed books enhance memory, personalize the reading experience, and provide a sense of connectivity absent in digital formats. The references cited support the arguments about reading comprehension and preference.

MAIN BODY
Summary of the text.
There seems to be rise in the electronic book which comes in the form of Tablet, a
Kindle, mobile phone application, etc. The world of the literature is on our finger tips. This is
one of the most innovative approach as one can read any book from Shakespeare to the latest
comic within the touch of the buttons. In my opinion, hard copy i.e., hard copy will in turn
always remain the king.
The book is considered to be as the window within the soul of the reader. The book will
age with time and the fragrance of the pages will become more mature. The book will always
remain with the reader. The act of reading is considered to be as a sensual pressure. The journey
through the book tends to become an event for a life. On the other hand, a tablet in turn is
considered to be full of intricate technology which is lifeless and is also a soulless chunk of
machinery. The one cannot experience journey with the piece of technology.
According to me, the book has accompanied us over a long period of time and the hard
copy is going to rule for me always. Books are appendage to soul of man kind. I believe that,
death of books will eventually result in death of humanity. Kindles and tablets are momentary
aberration to this evolutionary path way.
Agreeing with the argument of the author.
Hard copy book is considered to be better because it helps readers in recalling the various
set of information within the printed books when compared it with the e-readers (CHEN, and
et.al., 2016). Printed books tend to give better reading experience to the reader as it has soft and
nice pages. Printing books helps in absorbing and remembering more when compared with the
people who has been reading books online. On the contrary, reading books online is highly
common among students (Yuan, Van Ballegooie and Robertson, 2018). Books helps in
developing habit of reading on every day basis. E-books tend to put high degree of strain on the
eyes of the readers when they read from phones, tablets, etc. Regular books do not have any such
problem (Gregory and Cox, 2017). Books have their own thickness, texture and weight which
gives satisfying experience while reading a specific book. Books helps in building emotional
connection and also unique experience with the reader (Smith and et.al., 2019, June). E-books
requires battery and power, which in turn is not same for the reader reading through books.
Physical books helps in better memorization and in turn it also helps in personalizing the book.

Printed books are always better at conveying the set of information to the reader because there is
a sense of connectivity of the reader with the printed books (Ebooks vs Printed books: 7 reasons
one is better than other, 2019). Printing books are better than e-books because they are they
resistant.
