Empowerment of women is a movement that encourages women development and can be
described in several aspects, especially while thinking about empowerment for women; it implies

After its inception 70 years earlier, the United Nations has produced remarkable progress in the
development of sexual equality through the founding of just the Commission onto the Position of
women. In current essay an attempt has been made to look into women empowerment concept
with the help of some scholars.
According to the study of Anderson and McCormack in 2018, the largest global
intergovernmental organization devoted solely to the advancement of gender equity and female
empowerment (Anderson and McCormack 552). Gender disparities are indeed ingrained in every
culture. Females suffer from a shortage of exposure to fair jobs and experience workplace
discrimination and gender wage disparities. Throughout certain cases, exposure to basic
education and health services is refused, and they become perpetrators for abuse and injustice.
They are under-represented in political as well as economic judgment-making systems.
Many organizations seeking to eradicate sexism against women and children educate women and
promote parity between women as well as men as allies and beneficiaries of growth, civil
liberties, humanitarian intervention and peace and prosperity. While women experience equality
in healthcare results and also in elementary school enrollment levels in several nations, the
environment has never seen the kind of change as opposed to gender equality in business
opportunities (Pew Research Center). Women actively exceed men in organized workforce

engagement, access to markets, investment rates, wage levels, innovation rates, as well as
succession and property privileges.
As per the study of Alwis and Bombuwela in 2013, Research suggests that placing economic
capital throughout the hands of women is really the strongest way to promote growth and that
deprivation sustainably. Women usually spend considerably too much for men in the households
and societies, distribute resources and improve the standard of living for themselves and their
children (Alwis and Bombuwela 15). Most people live in violent marriages because of the
insecurity of culture. Families need to tell the girls that it's safe to go back home separated rather
than in a bag. The critical position of women and the need for their complete and equitable
inclusion and leadership in all fields of sustainable growth are important.
There have been different ways to empower women. All people and the government should work
forward and make that possible. Literacy for girls must be made mandatory so that people may
become illiterate in order to create a living for themselves. Most notably, the stigma of divorce
and violence needs to be pushed out of the way. Women must be granted equal opportunity in all
sectors, regardless of class. In fact, they will always obtain fair wages. We will motivate women
by preventing child marriage. Different workshops will be conducted so students can be shown
the opportunity to advocate for themselves in the midst of a financial meltdown.
