1REFLECTION ON THE FEEDBACKS
The feedback that is received on my essay writing skills reflected that I need
improvements in different factors like vocabulary, grammar and citing references whenever I am
relating to a study. I wrote complex sentences which are not feasible to read and the writing
lacked cohesiveness. I believe that while writing complex sentences I mix up between voices and
tenses which affected my capability of improving the quality of my writing.
Moreover, the teacher stated that the thesis statement was unclear and the overall study
was confusing. I failed to distinguish my ideas from the sources which again incapacitated me in
developing the quality of the study while operating as per the common objectives. Therefore,
after assessing the feedback that the lecturer provided I took the initiative of writing my views in
the form of drafts while reading a lot of books with the view of improving my vocabulary and
grammatical sentences. I have also started writing simple sentences which would support me in
minimizing errors while identifying the tenses and the appropriate voices while idealizing a
satiation. Lastly, I have borrowed a book from the library which would guide me through the
different details of citing a source effectively.
The feedback and the following activities would support me in improving my writing
style while building on its cohesion to the subject area. A thorough research before writing on
any topic would allow me in gathering sufficient knowledge in the long run which increasing the
readability and cognition of the articles that I might write I future.
