directing as well as controlling the interest held in land or properties with the objective of
attaining optimum benefits. Making profits for estate owner is the most important aim of estate

the profession of buying, selling or renting real estate properties to attain profitability. In this
report Estate manager is the profession that is taken into consideration. I have chosen estate
manager profession to make my career. As estate manager have charge to run daily operations of
estate business in efficient manner, oversee maintenance, manage budget as well as supervise the
other staff members. I have realised that there are various growth and development opportunities
in this field that motivates me to make my professional career in this field. It is considered as the
one of the most globally recognised sectors that also includes four sub-sectors such as housing,
retail, commercial and hospitality. I have measured that growth of estate sector in well
complemented by the growth of corporative environment and the demand of urban and semi-
urban accommodations.
This report covers the details regarding the profession of Estate manager and its roles and
responsibilities. General trend and impact of globalisation and technology advancement on the
job role and skills as well as competencies that are required to make career in this field. Along
with those various skills and capabilities that are expected from the applicant to apply this job
