1. Network Design for Ethernet LAN
The below diagram display the network design for Ethernet LAN.
The network design for Ethernet LAN is consists of three rooms such as technical
room, computer lab room and office rooms (Packet tracer, 2012). These are connected with
each other. The network design using the cisco network products to reduce the operational
costs and maintenance costs.

3. Specification of Network Devices
Cisco 2950 series Switches
This switches are used to easily enable the service providers to provide the effective
Ethernet LAN services. It easily extend the intelligent Ethernet services for an overall
network. It also easily deploying the network productivity and it enhanced the network
applications across their overall network. It commonly used to avoid the rewiring costs. It
delivers the metro Ethernet services (Scaling networks, 2014).
Cisco ISR router 2620 series
The Cisco ISR routers are used to provide the modules, WAN and chassis services
with a network management framework. It mainly designed to meet the gigabit forwarding
performance. It provides the flexible platform that can simply adapt to the changing network
applications. It support the all cloud application on the network devices. It offers the unified
communications, high quality user experience and faster response to user and business needs.
Cisco RJ45 Connectors
The RJ45 cables are using the maximum 100 meters length for a connection. The RJ45
connectors and cables are easiest and most efficient way to deal with thick wire installation.
The RJ45 connectors is one of physical connectors and it used to connect the Ethernet cables.
