What is the matter?
The government has decided to create a group of teachers who are willing to provide the
notes to the students who are unable to get the notes as they do not have the financial
potentiality to visit school and receive the basic education for the betterment of their lives.
Hence government has been planning to provide the platform to the students for getting the
notes ready in hand with the help of the customi9ization of the notes that will be uploaded by
the teachers. The government decides to create a group of teachers that would make notes or
study materials for children. The study material would include the important topics and a
client group would offer the funds required in producing them. The teachers would customize
the lessons. The targeted students are the ones who are located in remote areas where there
are no schools located. The government funding agencies suggested the study materials to be
in multimedia format. It is quite difficult for the team to develop multimedia content. The
funds required in order to produce a multimedia study material is very high and the content
would not be accessible by every child. There are various reasons for which it is not possible
to create a multimedia study material
What are the issues?
There are many issues that would interrupt the production of multimedia formatted
study materials. The issues are as follows
The group of teachers is just concerned of creating study materials only. The
audio visual content could not be made by them. A different group has to be
selected that would look after this aspect. This is quite difficult for a newly
introduced organization to get so many people to help for this.
In 20th century, in the world of multimedia there are still regions in India that have
not been introduced to internet yet. They have no access to smart phones or

internet. So introducing multimedia content would not be accessible by all types
of students and from all parts of country.
The fund required would be very high. Accessible multimedia is very costly to
develop.
The hardware requirements for Multimedia are CPU, Monitor, Video Grabbing
Card, Sound Card, CD-Rom. The software requirements are Adobe CS4, Adobe
Dreamweaver, Adobe Fireworks, Gimp, Google Sketchup, Microsoft Frontpage
and many more. These requirements are very essential to fulfill for applying
multimedia. These would have a very high budget.
The teachers presently have access to limited resources which will be required to
produce study materials. Students also have access to very limited resources so it
would be difficult to produce accessible multimedia study materials.
The targeted students are those who can not attend school for some or the other
reason. The disabilities faced by them are either distance problem or they can not
go to school because they have to earn due to lack of earning source in their
family.
Who are affected?
There would be various affects of the multimedia application. The targeted students
would be affected if the system is badly designed or too costly for them to afford. If the
materials are not prepared with utmost care it will get rejected by the students and the hard
work would be useless. The teachers would also be affected if there is no sufficient
opportunity to learn and receive promotion. If the system fails for any reason the government
as well as the funding party will be affected.

Everyone would be positive affected if the job is done with honesty and transparency and
accepted by the targeted students.
What are the ethical issues?
Utilitarianism- the acts of utilitarianism states is the betterment of the society id s the
main concern for the ethical law (Crane & Matten, 2016). However, in case of using
multimedia in the process the entire cost of the product rises which causes difficulties for the
clients to get access to the much needed documents of the application hence the purpose of
the project gets invalid.
Deontological theory – this act states that the motive of the duty must be ethical in nature in
order to serve the dignity of the project (McCuen, 2016). But in case of using multimedia in
the processing of the project the investors are trying to make profit out of the project which
itself is an unethical fact for the project terminologies.
Virtue theory- this theory states that the fact of going out of the boundaries to stick to the
ethical point of view is the main code of conduct that is to be followed in the processing of
the project (Pope & Vasquez, 2016). Virtual ethics is not taken int consideration in this case
as the investors and the manufacturers is bothered about the profit making concept through
the services that are going to be provided.
Contract theory- according to the contact theory the probation of the contract plays a vital
role in the processing of the project. This proceedings that are made must be taken into
consideration that the deal that is made is sufficient to provide the ethical services to the
student that are really needy and do not have the ethical scarcity for the manufacturer
regarding the manufacturing of the application (Congress, 2017).

What can be done about it?
There are various measures that can be taken in order to carry out the process
smoothly. The measures are.
The clients have to be made understand that the system has to be highly
accessible. The creation of inaccessible content may be a risk for everyone.
The client should be advised to study the primary benefits of the system.
Providing sufficient supporting services in order to ensure the viability of the
upcoming resource
Over-sophisticated technology should be avoided which would be unaffordable by
the targeted customers and causes disadvantages to nobody
Which option is the best?
The best option is to concentrate on what is needed to be produced and how it has to
be done instead of concentrating on introducing multimedia materials which would be
inaccessible by the targeted customers as well as might create a chaos among the system. If
not accepted by people the resources would be wasted and even the government will be
affected along with the clients involved in it.
