It is evident that workplace harassment is threatening behaviour, which is directed within an
individual group of the worker. Often the significant source of work stress may result in
aggressive behaviour within the workplace. As per the current scenario, the business may be
helpful if they are being promoted by a popular website. It has also been visualised that the
discounted price will be effective to reduce spending cost in the business promotion. Therefore,
the current link will be effective for the organisation to gain business success (Sadler, 2018).
However, reports of harassment, bullying and discrimination are visualised in the managerial
case of that company. In the positive sight, the organisation can get advantage from the website,
but the internal issue can create a negative impact on the current business reputation.
Such issues in the business process may create a negative impact on the brand reputation during
the business promotion. Such a case of ethical dilemma can be understood from the case scenario
of Teggart v TeleTech UK Ltd [2012]. Based on this case, derogatory comments about the work
colleague on the facebook have created harassment and resulting into summary dismissal. To
avoid such issues during the business promotion, the respondents have to maintain dignity in the
workplace policy. However, if the managers are breaking the rules due to a sense of entitlement,
the operation may be affected. Therefore, proper recommendation needs to be applied to resolve
such dilemmas in the business operation. Strong Human resource plan needs to be maintained
through performance management as well as behavioral assessment. Unethical activities in the
website process like the case of Teggart v TeleTech UK Ltd needs to be avoided. Both
organisations have to understand the ethical, legal and moral responsibilities before agreeing
with the organization (croneri.co.uk, 2012). The current business organisation has to make a
proper legal format, which will be followed by the company, with whom they are taking the
business promotional support (Antonakakis et al., 2017). Proper dignity in the work policy needs
to be maintained as part of this business contract. In order to avoid the impact on reputation, the
organisation has to think about a new way out at all levels. In both organisations, managers have
to maintain equal involvement with all the employees.
