Question 1
My first ethical memory came when I decided not to check the personal data of a
company. I still remember the day when I found the personal data of company but I decided
not to use or leak it due to my personal ethics. I personally believe that in such a situation,
person can get the access to several information and personal data of the company. I realised
that it is company’s personal information that no one should use or leak. I took the ethical
decision by informing the company through email. When I faced the moral or social
dilemmas, I decide to take the best way to solve it. Dilemma is always connected to my
beliefs, ethics, values, and behaviour such as integrity, honesty and generosity. I have decided
the significance of these values for myself. Ethical decision-making was my dilemma in this
situation when I have two options for decision-making. The first one was ethical in my
concern and other was unethical.
Utilitarian approach of ethics is a state where a person has to choose one policy or
action by placing the emphasis on what is right and what is wrong. By focusing on the
outcome, I also decided to not share the data for personal gain. By using such approach, I
hold the most ethical choice that will definitely produce the greatest good in the greatest
number. I believed that it was a kind of justice and faith for the company. This situation has
also taught me to give emphasis on bringing the creative and appropriate solution. I always
believe in finding the effective solution that at least not harm any of the party involved in
such situation. When I got this data, I discussed the same with one of my friend. He gave me
the unethical suggestion for using that data for personal gain. However, I discussed the same
with my another friend. He gave the right suggestion which became my first ethical memory.
Afterwards, I decided to move to the ethical decision and suggesting the same to one of my
friend who gave me the suggestion to adopt unethical behaviour.
According to me, code of ethical behaviour is the responsibility of every person by
making enough contribution to the ethical success in every situation. I always believe in
providing the best to business community as well as society in which we work. In my ethical
behaviour, I also strive to achieve the higher level of social responsibility by taking the right
decision at right time. I learnt that confidential information should be kept confidential even
we get the information from any of the source. At the same time, I also disseminate and
acquire the information through responsible and ethical means.

Question 2
A. Ethics is said to be the moral principles that tend to direct the way any business run. It
is true that ethical practices finds and recognise the difference between wrong and right.
Companies like Google come under the ethical companies that means it always take care of
the people data and provide the meaningful services. However, the article brings forward the
unethical action of Google by collecting the personal data of children. It is found that having
a good manager is the condition for organisation integrity but it not able to prevent the
organisation for getting the bad ethical results. For this, it is only possible to make strict
policy for the whole organisation including senior management, executive sand employees.
B. Integrity and morality is the practice of being honest and showing some
uncompromising and consistent adherence to the string ethical and moral values and
principles. The undertaking of such approach by Google directly breach the accuracy and
truthfulness of one’s action. In the article, it is mentioned that every company requires
parental consent before collecting as well as sharing any personal data or information of the
company. One of the moral value is the honest communication that was lacking in Google. It
is found that Google sued the data without the consent of people. In such a situation, moral
value of company was missing which could not be acceptable for such a big organisation. I
believe that communication is the major moral value for any organization for taking any step.
C. If I would be manager, I always take care of the company, working by effectively
taking the timely reports from different departments. At the same time, I would also explain
the company’s code of conduct to which every member is required to adhere. I would also
tell them that strict action could be taken whenever any illegal or unethical attempt is taken
by any of the person. At the same time, I would also appoint specific person who used to
check the working of different departments time-to-time. A proper check would be kept
regarding the working of team members. In addition to this, I would definitely take some
strict action regarding the person who has used the personal data. Afterwards, a strict policy
is to be made so that such practices not followed in future. In this way, I believe that manager
is one such person who can stop the unethical practices going on in organisation. It has been
seen that people are posting those contents that might not be effective for some age group. In
order to avoid such issue, company can adopt the strict policy by appointed a team for
checking the data which is being posted on You Tube Channel. However, insensitive content
is not allowed but some of the people are still posting due to lack of proper action. If I would
