this news and also impacted negative as well as decrease the tourism.
Main body
Success and it meant to the organization
Definition of success is term as achieving of a particular task ,depending on the what kinds of
aims are,as success can be come with many forms. For each business owner definition of a
success is different as they consider the unique on. There are various factors that may affect the
success types. Success is also considered as the eye of the beholder (Whitelock‐Wainwright and
et.al., 2019). It is also defined as being the financially comfortable that able to spend time to the
family members.
Role of ethics in an organization
At the workplaces it assures the positive environment. It leads to make a satisfied and happy
employees so that they really enjoy to work together. They also develop a loyalty feeling as well
as attachment towards the organization (Misra,2018).
Brief Summary of the case study
Stacker family is known as the wealthy family of the British . They are known for their huge
amount of donation to art gallery. They are involved in the unethical practices and also provided
the wrong donation to the art gallery. When people come to know about their unhealthy practices
have a negative impact on their mind. Tourist also effect knowing this as this reduces the

its reputations. The company is donated by the millions of dollars to the charities (Feltovich,
2019). The donation of company is affected by the unethical behavior of employees and staff
members. First and foremost example of unethical behavior is causes of increasing rate of
unexpected death. This influence shareholders and stakeholders of company in order to receive
donations. Second, reason is misuse of donation amount is unethical behavior which is affected
by company and its growth factors in negative manner by creating issues with medicine. Like
company is misuse the amount of donation is created a negative impact on donor mind and
influence their ways of thinking in respect with donation amount (MacDonald, 2017). They use
amount of donation for their personal uses which create problem and risk for company and its
products (Clerke and et.al., 2018). The unethical behavior is affect to company and its growth
factors in irrespective manner. This creates more problems for company and in order to decrease
their donation rate of company. This enhances pressures on company to use amount of donation
at right place.
Historical places and museums are being viewed as knowledge centers of the city. They depicts
culture, history and tradition of the area. Therefore, these organizations should not be involved in
unethical practices that may impact their public image and reputation in negative manner. The
unethical donation to the museum by sacker family will negatively affect the image of the
organization (Tsirogiannis, 2017). It will also negatively influence the visit of tourists, travelers
that visit from different countries to the museums such as Louvre, the Guggenheim, the Victoria
and Albert Museum etc. One of the biggest impact of unethical donation is that public that is
visiting the museum before knowing that donations are illegal they will stop coming to see the
things in museum. They will also loose hope on these organisations ( MacDonald, 2017).
One of the biggest impact it will have on public is that they will develop negative views
in respect of those organisation that are receiving donations by violating ethical principles. This
will result in loose of hope of the public. The impact of the act of companies receiving the
donations will be very catastrophic. If, unethical behaviour of these organisations does not stop
in that case people will stop visiting these places as they visit before for getting knowledge
regarding tradition, culture of the particular area (Tsirogiannis, 2017). Public will also stop
visiting different exihibitions because uenthical behaviour of one organisation affects the views
of visitors like tourists, travellers etc. In respect of other visiting places also. The visitors may
develop bad image in respect of the whole country. This will negatively affect the gross domestic

product of the nation. Moreover, it will damage the image of art galleries and museums that will
affect the growth and development of both museum as well as art galleries and the productivity
of the organizations.
Sackler family who has been engaged in opioid crisis is making huge number of donations to
various museums and art gallery (MacDonald, 2017). The museums to which they are making
donations are Louvre, the Guggenheim, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the National
Gallery have all received generous donations from the Sackler family. These museums are
making watch Sackler family as most respectable in front of public. This will lay a negative
impact on mind of travellers who in will visits these museums and art gallery in London and
New York (Greaves, and et.al., 2018). As these organizations are engaged in unethical practices.
The wrong donations are basically misguided and do not make an impact and also does not solve
any problem. Also when travellers will come to know about this they will start disliking the
place. This can also reduce the profitability aspects of these galleries and museums. Also this
unethical behaviour can lower down their profitability. It can make increase their operational
cost and can also reduce the profitability aspects of these museums and galleries (Saboshchuk,
2018). The effects of unethical behaviour on business begin to tell with time – as the line
between right and wrong begins to blur. People within the organization that conduct themselves
with high standards feel helpless and annoyed with the dishonest behaviour of their co-workers
and or leaders. This should be stopped by the museums and art galleries as this is giving un-
necessary amount of respect to museum. Unethical practices like accepting donation from
organizations who have been linked with such a brig crisis like opioid can also damage the
behaviour and image of museums and art galleries (Tsirogiannis, 2017). Travellers and people
who are going to affect the business will be negatively affected. This will reduce the growth of
both art galleries and museum. This will also reduce the productivity aspects of museum and art
gallery (Simmons, 2017).
Perspective of the public view
Success of the firm that receiving donations from the public point of view such as museums as
well as galleries that involves the prices as it impacts on the negatively as these kinds of donation
unethical provided to the museums and galleries. These kinds of donations are not only for the
Charity purpose but also for illegal purposes (Saboshchuk, 2018).

Effective regulations for receiving donations
Public service providers such as museums and galleries have well-defined regulations
and guidelines for receiving donations. These regulations are supported by various legislative
aspect to assure that donations received by these organizations is used for ethical and legal work
as well as their source is valid (Whitelock‐Wainwright and et.al., 2019). The purpose of such
legislative is to make sure that such donations does not become an easy medium for money or
brand laundering. As per the perspective of the services that can be offered by the public through
museums .
The perspective of the public confidence as they might have seen the museums as well as
galleries earlier in positively but after knowing that donations came from an unethical source
they took it as a negative sense (Saboshchuk, 2018). Although wealth is not always ways of
accomplishing success before starting anything begins to set the goals as it crucial to focus what
it means to an organization. It plays a vital role in increasing number of unethical behaviour
within the organizations as making these donations within organizations increases their
influential power over the organization which can further affect decision-making process done
within the organization (Tsirogiannis, 2017). Due to this unethical practises within such
organizations increases which affects their normal functioning or processing. Many times due to
these donations wrong function, display or auctions that are done within organizations due to
which many times chances of ordinary people for such functions is reduced or in other words
their legal rights are also affected (Whitelock‐Wainwright and et.al., 2019).
Perspective in terms of Patients
Due to excessive use of OxyContin it has seen the alarming effect on the increment on
the death due to the addiction of this painkiller. The family of the patients suffering from both
the money and addiction regarding the drugs. As they sell legally and then illegally. As company
invites the doctors of the US expenses paid the conferences within resorts as well as targeted
the doctors which prescribed this medicines. Thus, it is most commonly recommended
medicines . With the patients point of view it is highly defamed the company. As this destroys
the life of the patients and their family members (Whitelock‐Wainwright and et.al., 2019).
RECOMMENDATION
It is suggested that Public review is negative on the donation basis as sackler family has positive
image in front of the public but travelers also took a negative impact so it is recommended that

stop of brand laundering as it impact negative impact on the tourism and reduces the
profitability of the gallery and art museums.
Second one is that they keep very high prices of the painkillers which are also very addictive, so
they should do not this by stopping the illegal use of the medicines which are also very addictive.
The prices of the medicines are very costly as they hit their family members also. Both in terms
of medicines and money. It is also not affordable to their family members. Also the doctors who
prescribed these kinds of medicines government cancel their licenses so this became the lesson
for all the doctors in future refences.
Third one is applied is that effective measures for making policies and procedures so it is not
becomes the easiest job for very negative person who gives donation for a false purpose. Strict
rules and regulations made to avoid such kind of things as it reduces the profitability of the
museums as well as art galleries. Up-gradation in these policies and procedures will help in
reducing donations that are made to museums from drug cartels so that it becomes quire difficult
for seeing illegal drugs. This will also help in reducing of gifts and donations that are made to
museums which will further help in reduction of influential decisions making process.
CONCLUSION
From the above assignment it can be concluded from the study that ethical practices and
regulations also play an important role in wrong donations, charity or gift acceptances that are
done in museums, art galleries etc. For the public or non-profitable organizations it becomes
mandatory to assure that donations accepted by them are legal and ethically acceptable. It has
been analysed that when organization does not follow any regulatory framework in accepting
donations then it can affect and even question their ethical and moral contribution towards
society. It has been also analysed from the above discussion that unethical behaviour by galleries
and museums can also influence pricing, brand value and success of the events conducted by
such organizations from unethical donations.
