Technology is one of the fastest growing elements that have become the necessity of life.
Technology is growing and becoming advance day by day. Technology is playing a major role in
our day to day life. But it has become an essential element of the business. The businesses need
to adopt the latest technology to compete in this competitive world where there is cut-throat
competition in every field and for every player irrespective of the size. Whether the organization
is big or small in this borderless world, the organization must cope with the technological
advancement to compete with its competitors. The term technology is a very vast term, and it
includes email, texting, social networking, and video conferencing, and so on. It is very difficult
to mention existing or emerging technology related to these. Therefore, in this study only
existing or emerging internet technology is being covered.
Existing Technology of Internet
 Viruses: it is a malicious software program that replicates itself when executed by modifying
the program of other computers and insert its code.
 Email Address Mass Marketing: it is a technique of sending a commercial message to a
group of people via email.
 Hackers: hackers are those who hack the computers of other by using hacking techniques.
They alter, damage, or steal the information of others.
 Internet Churches: it is a technique of gathering scholars of different religion on a platform
using the internet and allows them to keep their views either through video conferencing or
audio conferencing.
 Scanner Monitoring: it is a technology to monitor the activities of any premises.

business to promote their businesses on the social network.
 Data mining: data mining means getting the relevant data from databases to find out
particular information.

transmit the information through radio over a distance.
Emerging Technology
 Cyber Terrorism: it is one of the negative sides of the technology which is used for the mass
disruption and creates fear among the people.
 Cyber Spying: cyber spying is used to obtain the secret information of the enemies,
competitors, individuals, government, and group for personal, political or economic use by
the use of the internet.
 Internet Assisted Medical Procedures: technology has become advanced and not technology
is assisting a human being in almost every field. In medical and medical science technology
is guiding doctors and expert to have an error-free operation.
 Robotics: robotics is a branch of engineering and science that helps in designing,
constructing, and developing robots. Robots a unique development of technology that help
human as human.
 Internet Assisted Transportation: now technology is also assisting in transportation. Now
driverless cars are being developed that are as safer as the cars with drivers.

online tuition classes are being taken by the professionals. Students can attain lecture from
any corner of the world to another corner of the world with the help of technology.
Related Ethical Issues:
Technology is developing and helping the human being in every field. It has become the
necessity of life as well as business. But there are some negative aspects of technology, and some
ethical issues are related to technology which needs to take care.
 Impact on the individual: with the help of technology, hackers steal the personal information
of individual and misuse that information. Nowadays almost every individual is using social
networking, and he/she provide personal information on these social networks.
 Social consequences: sometimes technology seems disaster for a human being. Cybercrime is
increasing day by day, and it is becoming alarming for the society. Every society wants to
live in a peaceful environment, but technology is trying to harm this agenda of society.
 With the help of technology, work has become cheaper and faster. The work of 10 people is
being done by one machine even in less time. This is important for the growth and
developmental point of view, but if we talk about employment, it seems illogical to adopt the
technology. Many people are losing their job, and their living standard is being affected. The
per capita income of working class is decreasing. Therefore, technology is seemed unethical.
 Privacy has become an important concern for everyone due to the advancement in
technology. Advance technology has reduced the scope of privacy, and now nothing can be
secret. Everything is visible even personal issues are being monitored by the technology.
