Introduction:
An organization faces various types of problems. Ethical issues are one of them. The following
report will contain these issues regarding the communication between CEO and developer,
which is presenting through video 1. The following report will include the ethical issues, the
implication of ethical problems and their solutions with ethical theories and the in last the use of
ICT with its more issues regarding adoption.
Be able to identify ethical issues related to ICT:
The ethical issue is a situation of a person or an organization in which, need to select between
right or wrong. It is also explained a group of principles or moral values which is related to a
group or individual. I select the Video 1 in which the discussion is going about the submission of
a project before the deadline. The security issues are also occurring in project related to
encryption. There are various ethical issues which are related to information communication
technology like, speed and scale, which store a huge amount and perform an operation like,
retrieve and transfer. The second one is complexity, every system is complex even its creator not
understood its complexity. Some other ethical issues like Privacy, Property, Accuracy and
Accessibility. In an organization, people keep privacy and secret the things like e-banking and
data security. The next issues regarding the communication and computers, the virus attacks are
the issues related to these. There are some technology-related ethical issues like sound
manipulation, video and photo manipulation. These technology issues occur with illegal copy-
paste activity. to resolve the issues regarding ethical, block the software and browser and the V-
chip (kusmulyono, 2008).
Be able to access the implication of ethical problems:
There are various ethical problems which discussed earlier. The implication of ethical problems
occurs in airport, organization and restaurant due to the hacking of the data by hackers. In the
current situation between the CEO and the developer of the company, they are also talking about
the hacking and encryption of the data of the company. They are thinking about the delivery of
the project before its deadline due to security implication. There is so many justifications offers
for maintaining the rules of privacy. The ethical implication occurs almost in every field like the
implication of law, the implication of goodness, the implication of honesty and leadership. The
ethical problems divide into some types like, meta-ethics; it deals with nature of justification like
between right or wrong. The second type is normative-ethics; it used to determine the right or
wrong using principles and standards. The last part is applied ethics; it deals in a particular
situation with using ethical principles. The ethical problems can be solving by proper
commutation between two or more than two people on the particular issues. As shown in the

video of the company, CEO and developer talking about the safely delivery of the project, this is
the best way to solve ethical issues by communication (Revenstone, 2016).
Be able to critically evaluate solutions of ethical problems:
The ethical problems of an organization or anywhere can be solving by using various steps. In
the first step, the employee needs to aware of the problems and its kinds. What is the proper
definition of a problem for him? Then establish criteria for decision making for him and develop
alternatives with evaluate them and decide a plan and work on it. After deciding the plan,
implement it. Implement a schedule and responsibilities. In the current organization, identify the
ethical problem like a discussion with clients regarding the early project delivery due to the issue
of encryption and find the fact of problems with communication to CEO. Find the parties who
are affected by these ethical problems. What is the requirement of the client regarding the project
and consider the involved issues? Make different in personal, professional and organizational
ethical issues. Some fundamental principles which are affected the ethical issues like, integrity,
objectivity, self-interest familiarity and many more. To solve these ethical issues, follow the
policies, guidelines and procedure of the organization. Apply law and regulation of the company.
Accept the universal principles and values of the society. Test the proposed action and monitor
the process (icaew, 2018).
Be able to apply ethical theories to ethical problems:
Ethical theories are the part of the foundation of decision making. They represent the individual
guidelines while making a decision. The ethical theories have three types of, consequential
theories, non-consequential theories and agent-centered theories. The first part consequential
theories are related to result of specific tasks of ethical actions. Next one non-consequential, it is
related to the intentions of the person who takes a decision about the ethical tasks. The last one,
agent-centred, these are concerned with total individual ethical status compare to less than moral
actions. The organization is currently facing the condition one, in which the CEO and developer
are talking about the delivery of their task or work before the deadline and safely from the
encryption. There are also some approaches to each type of ethical theories which are used to
define properly the ethical theories,
Consequentialist theories have approached, The Utilitarian approach that is described by a
philosopher to making decision and concern with a large group of people. The next egoistic
approach is related to egoism or self-interest. Same as other two types have some approach to the
duty-based approach, the right approach and the justice approach (brown, 2018).

Be able to argue consistently and rationally about the moral issues raised by
the adoption and use of ICT:
Information and communication technology has an important role in ethics aspects. The
organizations and commercial business request to use the design and ICT system. The ICT
consider the privacy and security carefully in their design which is an important thing according
to the current issues of encryption in project delivery. The adoption would be starting from a new
point according to the new way of working which is a digital way. There are some issues which
experienced during the adoption of ICT; these are Technical faults, learning, User interface,
knowledge and skills, Issues with the social relationship, Issues with commercial services,
Problems with technology-limits and frustration and Upgrading and innovation uncertainty
(Stahl, Timmermans & Flick, 2016, p. 369).
Conclusion:
Successfully implement the morel ethical issues regarding the current problem of the
organization of timely delivery of project without any encryption. Explain ethical issues of ICT
with their implications and solution of ethical problems, also explained the ethical theories
regarding the problem with issues of adoption and use of ICT.
