of companies can impact the people enjoying the human rights positively and negatively. The
impact of the business on the human rights can be explained with an example such as the right of
self-determination, that allows the group of peoples are entitled for determining their political
status along with the place in the international community, the right also provides with the rights
to pursue social, economic and cultural development as well as dispose a land’s natural
resources. The business activities impact the indigenous peoples land by construction or
acquisition and impact the rights of the self-determination. The multinational companies with the
partner are involved in the violations of the human rights in the global operations (Engwall,
2018). The human rights awareness has increased the media attention to the business role in
increasing the awareness for treating the workers who are producing the making the goods for
meeting the demands of the global market. Many campaigns are impacting the business for
targeting the human rights and the abuses and the companies are enforcing meaningful
approaches for avoiding the violations of the human rights in the business.

The purpose of the code of conduct is to enhance the effectiveness of the system that
defines the standards for the ethical behaviours as well as the professional conduct are mandate

is a non-government organisation that mobilise information for accountability as well as justice
to support the human right groups. The organisation is best suited for the organisations to handle
the human right issues as it develops the tools as well as strategies for the facilitating the human
right documentation and monitoring work along with enhancing the accessing to the human right
information bodies. HURIDOCS consults with the organisations that have many scopes and
sizes, international NGOs, local grassroots groups and national human right institutions for
helping them in overcoming the challenges related to the information management.

application (Araujo). This application is made for the defenders of human right to help them with
the management of the testimonies, cases, facts, evidences, complaints and many other type of

format is used by various organisations for different uses such as collecting evidence, monitoring
