Ethical Leadership
The decision made daily by people on what to do or the steps to follow to achieve a
certain goal may be wrong or right. Choosing and evaluating process between the alternatives
available and selecting the best, makes the decision ethical. Some of the Christians have been
ethical in the business industry in a very successful way. The uncompromised principles, beliefs,
conscience and moral code makes the Christian unique (Mele & Fontrodona. 2017). Ethics are
well uphold in everything they do since the Christian principles are applied in every decision
they make.
Synovus Financing Corporation was doing a great job taking care of their people.
However, the comfort in the people, the peaceful and pleasant environment of work cannot
motivate growth in any way. Little stress is required as this will create a gap. The gap will bring
institutional problems which will in turn yield to invention of a solution. This will lead to
personal and institutional growth (Lin, Tobler & Schmid, 2019). The lack of association with
other unethical companies was the best decision. Bad morals that the other companies had, could
have corrupted the good morals of Synovus Financing Corporation. The association itself would
bring a bad reputation to the corporation from people and would lose their trust in them.
Amazon has emerged to be the best and popular online shopping site though it has got so
many unethical issues. Illness and motherhood should not be disadvantageous in any way to the
employees. Back stabbing amongst co-workers and they end up loosing their job shows that the
company lack accountability to its own workers. This therefore is not the perfect example that
can be compared to Synovus Financing Corporation for it to grow.
