INTRODUCTION
The report aims to bring forth the ethical policies in the context of different scenarios.
TASK
Chosen scenario
The scenario here is the one that is dealing with the first aspect that is related to the behaviour of
the employee in the workplace (Newman and et.al, 2017). There are certain organisational
entities that are to be adhered by every employee in a workplace. The situation in scenario one
can be addressed by properly counselling the employee regarding the aspects of the
organisational policy and in case it sis not still followed then the employee comes under
violation of ethics and will be terminated.
Manager code of conduct
Drinking at a work place itself will not come under code of conduct of the organisation. the
manager will have to address the situation highlighting the prospect of this code of conduct
application that will better define the situation rather than getting adjusted with the behaviour.
By all mean the management can take action.
Ethical issue
The ethical issue that is observed in this regard is the investigation of reporting. This is because it
has been reported by many other employees (Lau and et.al, 2017). The employees in the
organisation will have to be abide by the rules and regulations and will have to incorporate ethics
that are mandatory to be inculcated. Not respecting the co-workers or not taking up the stipulated
work will be regarded as unlawful. Disciplinary actions will be taken against those that will not
follow the rules of the company.
Impact of managers
The managers are responsible to inculcate the norms and the policies that are an essential aspect
in the organisation. they are responsible to set the boundaries that are required and are mandatory
to be followed by the employees. The managers in this case that are concerned are considered to
be less reactive. They must have taken the necessary actions that will include gross misconduct
and proactive monitoring of the situation. Any unlawful move that is listed in the employee term
will therefore be considered unlawful and the managers are responsible to immediately take it to
the higher authorities or if it is a small issue then they will have to make them realise the aspects
of the ethical policies (Einarsen and et.al, 2017).
