AI Summary
This report comprehensively analyzes the ethical, legal, and professional issues associated with robot care systems. It delves into the core ethical principles, including transparency, autonomy, and societal impact. The report examines relevant laws, such as Isaac Asimov's laws of robotics, and explores legal liabilities and safety standards. Professional issues, such as governance and code of conduct, are also discussed. Furthermore, the report provides a detailed overview of the ACM and BCS codes of ethics, highlighting general principles, professional responsibilities, and leadership guidelines. The evaluation of these issues emphasizes the importance of ethical considerations and the need for continuous updates as technology evolves. The conclusion summarizes the key findings, underscoring the multifaceted challenges and considerations surrounding the implementation of robot care systems from ethical, legal, social, and professional perspectives.

ROBOT CARE SYSTEM
Introduction
The foremost determination of the paper is to focus on the different types of ethical issues
associated with the robot care system. The social, ethical, professional and legal issues associated
with the robot care system will be discussed in this paper.
Law related to robot care system
There are different types of laws related to the robot care system such as the Issac
Asimov’s three laws of robotics which states about the safety of the human beings, obedience of
the robot system as stated by the instructor, protection against any kinds of confliction caused
due to malfunctioning of the robot care system.
Ethical principles of robot care system
There are different categories of ethical issues associated with the robot care system such
as the transparency of the internal mechanics, autonomic decision making capability of the
system, impact of the system in our daily life and industrial activities (Riek 2016). Security and
privacy are the other important ethical issues of the robot care systems.
Professional issues of robot care system
The different type of professional issues associated with the robot care system are the
different system integrated in the robot care system. The professional attachment of the robot
care system in the high end industries is the other concern for this system. The governance plan
required for the robot care system is the other significant professional issue associated with the
robot care system.

Legal issue of the robot care system
The legal issues associated with the robot care system is the liability which states about
the role of the creators of the robot care system, negligence about any aspects of the robot care
system may lead to severe business losses. Safety standards is the other legal issue which is
concerned about the health conditions of human beings. Trust and the right of the systems are the
other legal issues associated with the robot care system
Professional issue of the robot care system
The professional issues associated with the robot care system is the professional code of
conduct of the robot care system. The automated technologies associated with the system should
be aware of the professional code of ethics so that the professional objectives of the system can
be achieved.
ACM Code of Ethics
The ACM code of ethics applicable for the robot care system are as followings:
General ethical principles
The system must be contributing to the society in a useful manner and it must not be
harming the environment where it is incorporated. The system should be trustworthy and honest
and must not discriminate parameters such as tolerance and fairness. The system should also be
encouraging new ideas and artifacts.

Professional responsibilities
The system must provide highest quality service and the existing rule of the organization
should be maintained by the system. The possible risks associated with the system should be
identified in the first place and the areas of competence should be identified.
Professional leadership principles
The prime concern of the organization should be secured. Acceptance of the social
responsibilities and the management of the resources are the other professional leadership
principles which should be followed in this system. The system must be obeying the
organizational values and principles and create opportunities for the members of the organization
to grow. The system must be compatible with the other systems of the organization.
Compliance with the code
The future technologies should be well handled by the robot care system, there should be
no violations considering the professional code of ethics.
BCS Code of Ethics
Public interest
The robot care system should be encouraging equity which states about the equal
opportunities for everyone to access the system irrespective of any discriminations (Moraga et
al. 2017). There should be no obligations associated with the robot care system.
Professional competence and integrity
The robot care system should be setting professional standards for the incoming systems.
The system should be having good knowledge about the existing technological advancements.

Relevant authority
The authority of this system should be kept in the hands of professional experts knowing
human and social values. Confidential information should be kept secret.
Duty to profession
The conduct of the system should be maintained throughout the life cycle of this system,
it falls under the professional aspect of the system.
Evaluation of the issues
According to Stahl and Coeckelbergh (2016), the ethical issues should be focused hugely
before the system is incorporated into an organization. However, as stated by Van Wynsberghe
(2016), the ethical issues associated with the robot care system should be frequently updated as
new technologies are incorporated into the system. The researcher focused on the malfunctioning
of the existing code of conducts which are incorporated into the robot care system.
Conclusion
Based on the above paper it can be concluded that there are different types of ethical
issues associated with the robot care system from the legal, social, ethical and professional
perspective. The BCS and ACM code of ethics applicable to the robot care system is discussed in
the paper. Thus the paper was helpful to understand the issues associated with robot care system
in a professional manner.
