Discussion
In this case, Brenda is grieving over an ethical problem associated with practised
beliefs and personal biases. Brenda in this context is facing a major struggle of the interest
aroused by her own personal beliefs of ethical viewpoint. This is because, being a software
manager, it is her duty to supervise and teach the junior management to help them with data
entry error. It is also her core duty to report this issue about organisations lose profit, as this
is the policy of the company.
Brenda has been appointed with the duty of testing this work done by the junior
management. However, due to the error caused by junior staffs during data entry have led to
major mistakes that are resulting in the loss of organisational profit. Brenda is not able to
approach them nor being able to approach the higher management. This is giving rise to a
clash of interest within herself.
In this regards, concerning Chris Macdonald methods of ethical problems, Brenda
needs to successfully recognise the decision of moral importance such as decisive subjects
that indicate the conflicts in more than two different values.
Secondly, she is required to recognise the individual who has the accountability to
act in this situation. In this, an abrupt situation she is required to act compassionate towards
are junior and tell them about the issue of violating policy. This is because it is often
necessary to contemplate with the interest of the parties causing the issues than the ethical
morals. Apart from these issues, Brenda is required to evaluate the relationship in between
the juniors and herself.
Finally, she is required to interrogate the values in accordance with her personal
views about the organisational policy and unethical behaviour.

For this ground, the following clauses have been violated in the case

that may hamper the wellbeing of the organisation. In this context, Brenda is needed to take
appropriate steps in consultation with the management and the employees causing the
problem for mitigating the issue that is violating the policy of the organisation.
