EXECUTUVE SUMMERY
As per the report has has been analysis the importance of ethics which is necessary for
the Amazon to look at it because it is affecting their business, and they should give it priority.
Ethics has huge impact on the business of the Amazon, and they can face problems like
Demotivtion in their employees and their efficiency to work.

INTRODUCTION
Business ethics refers to implementing appropriate business policies and practices with
regard to arguably controversial subjects. Some issues that come up in a discussion of ethics
include corporate governance, insider trading, bribery, discrimination, social responsibility, and
fiduciary responsibilities.
Understanding of Ethics are important for the business because it concerns with the
employees moral and judgment about right and wrong. Decisions taken within the company
may be made by the individual person or any group, But whoever make the decision then It can
influence on the companies culture (Barry., 2016). It is necessary for the company's Superiors to
look for the ethics at their workplace because it can affect on the companies operation activities
and performance in the market.
This is report will cover the Case study of Amazon which is top online retailer company
and their CEO “Jeff Bezos” who is world's top wealthiest man with a net worth of 160 billion.
They are top online retail product selling company and with the worldwide reputation they are
big brand they need to understand their Corporate social responsibility. There are some ethics
which can become the problem for the Amazon so company have to look for it. Tax avoidance
by the Amazon affecting the wages of the employees, and they are also facing the political
criticism from the Jeremy Corbyn. Another ethical issue is their working environment where
employees are working long hours and superiors of the company are pressuring them to reach
their target and this problem is also faced by the Drivers who deliver the products.
As compare to the Amazon, Google is much concern about their employees, and they
ensure to get their employees better salaries and flexible working hours. Their employees also
get the incentives for their motivation which create good working environment and make their
business successful (Bloom., 2017).
The Main Aim of the Report is to analyze ethical issues and discussion whether the ethics
should be a main priority of the company or not.
Analysis
Introduction
Ethics in the business are problem for the companies and this has mainly affect the
employees who are working under the company. To Get the success in their business sometime
companies forget about their employees and other social responsibilities which can provide

them successful result but affect their market reputation. This affect the metal health of the
employees if they are working in the company from the long time and other ethics like
Political ethics which can become big issue from the company in the future. Companies main
aim should be their ethics which are problems for them and their social responsibility toward the
society, so they can overcome from the ethics. This ethics can create big problems for the
company because it affect on their employees and they should also look for their employees and
other people who have equal contribution in the business to make it successful, otherwise It will
become the reason behind the failure of the company because employees will not able to
perform better. Bad image among the customers will lead them to go with other options which
are available on the market (Chan And et.al., 2016). They will go with the other brand rather
than going with them. This makes necessary for the companies to pay the first priority to their
ethics within the company and overcome from the ethics by contribution toward the society
and looking for their employees welfare and looking their basic needs which can make their life
better.
Weather the CEO of the Amazon thinks ethics should be the main Priority of the company
CEO of the Amazon company is top leader of the company and owner as well. Their are
some social responsibility of the Jeff to maintain their reputation in the market because Jeff is
top richest man alive, and he has some social responsibility toward the society and their
employees.
Yes, Off course the CEO of Amazon should think that ethics should be the main
priority of the company because they are top online retailers but the reason behind their
success is their employees who are working hours and making them successful but employees
are not getting proper salaries, and they are not even getting living wages after working whole
day at the workplace.
Tax is used for the society and their welfare, Amazon is avoiding tax, and they are not
paying Taxes To the government . This is necessary for the company to pay Tax because it is
helpful for the society to get better infrastructure and, school etc (Cumming, Hou and Lee.,
2016). If they will not look for their corporate social responsibility then it will affect their
business because they are messing with the politician or the government and company should
understand that they have power to take strict action and it will affect their market reputation,
and they also have to pay changes for their Tax avoidance.

The last ethical issue is also about their employees because they are work in the
company for a long hour shift which is affecting their mental health They will not get the
proper rest then they will not able to work next day. This is an responsibility of the companies
EOC to take this as a first priority and solve ethical issues by looking toward their society and
employees. Other wise if can affect on the image of the Amazon and their CEO as well, because
they are inspiration for the other and ethical problems can caret negative image among them so
Ethics should be their first priority.
Whether the employees think that companies main priority of the Amazon company.
Employees should think that ethics are the main priority of the Amazon company but
not every employees are concerned and share their thoughts with the superiors. There are three
kind of the employees at the company who have different employees as per their behavior,
employees with confident and leadership, employees who know about the ethics, but they
scare to share their problems and last is employees who are comfortable in every kind of
condition, They just care about their salaries,
Employees who are confident and with the leadership qualities are concern about the
problems and rise their voice toward the company about their problems and ethics at the
workplace of the Amazon company(David and James., 2019). They know how to deal with the
ethics and have some ideas to overcome from the problem. They should complain about the
problem like they are getting very less salaries and working environment of the company is
also dangerous fro them which is affecting metal health of the employees. They should take
stand for other employees as well because they are voice of the other.
The employees who scared to talk with the superiors and complain about their problems
should think that companies first priority is ethics which are affecting their own work, and
they can give their support to the employees who are rise their voice against the Amazon
company and company have to listen to their them because the employees are the main reason
behind their success and if every employee will stand together then the superiors of the
Amazon company have to look for the ethics and provide them proper rest and salaries which
is the big issue of the employees.
Last category employees will need encouragement from the other employees to give
them support (DeTienne And et.al., 2019). They have to communicate with them and tell them
why it is necessary for us to make company think like ethics are their first priority. This will

provide them support, and they can be successful to convince the Amazon company and get
their rights and this can be possible if each and every employee's with fight together for their
rights.
Whether politicians should think ethics are main property of an company
Yes, politicians should think ethics are the main priority of the company because they
collect the taxes for the welfare of the society and also to make the infrastructure of the country
better, it helps to increase countries GDP growth of the country and government use the taxes
make the schools and collages etc for society for their benefits (Ferrell And et.al., 2019).
The politicians have power and reach to communicate with the Amazon leaders, and
they can encourage Amazon to make their ethics as the priority, they can not go legally for the
taxes but their employees are facing problems and company is not working according to the
Labour laws, and they are also not getting their rights in the company so this can be reason
where they can go legally and take the legal actions file filing the lawsuit against the Amazon
company. This will make them understand their mistakes and force them to look for the ethics
and make it their first priority and provide their employees their rights and work for the society
responsibility (Greenwood and Freeman., 2018). They have also faced the criticism from the big
political leaders like Jeremy Corbyn and the Donald trump. The criticism from the both
politicians which affect on the companies reputation and the government has on their control
so if they want, they can go against the Amazon company, and they can ban the company in
their country which will affect the business of the Amazon company because they are top
leaders, and they have governmental power which they can use if they want to.
CONCLSUION
A per the report has been covered the ethical issues at the workplace of the Amazon
company and it has been discussed the aim of this report which is that whether the ethics
should be the main priority of the company. It has been provided brief description of the
company and case study of the Amazon company and cover the three main points related to
the ethics priority and share the opinion for the CEO, employees and political leaders. In the
end of this report has been provided recommendation for the company to overcome from the
ethics and create the image better and this will make them more better.

RECOMMENDATIO
I world like to suggest the Amazon's CEO to look for the ethics of their business because
right now they are top but when customers will get the replacement of them then they will go
with them and it will affect their business if they will continue their ethical behavior it can be
difficult for them to overcome from the ethics. They need to look for the ethical problems which
are faced by their employees and issues which are affecting their business (Suselo., 2018). If
they will understand their corporate social responsibility then it will take them toward the more
success, and they will create good image in the market.
Three recommendation for the Amazon company on the basis of Analysis section of this
report is -
 companies ethics should be the first priority of the company, and they need to understand
This because they are the leaders, and they are inspiration for the other. Their work will
affect the other that how to do business and what is the way of doing business. If they
will not give priority to the ethics then it will affect on the image of the Jess.
 Employee who should be their main priority and Amazon should look for their welfare
and their rights. Employees also have the power to make their company think what
should be their first priority (Yin and Quazi., 2018). They just need to stay together and
rise their voice so company can underrated their priority, and they will look for the
ethics and the problems at the workplace of the Amazon company. They have to express
and share their thoughts.
 Politicians who have power should take the strict action toward the Amazon company
to make them understand their first priority because they are not paying the taxes
which is ethical behavior from the company. Amazon should also understand that they
are working in the many countries and thy should follow the rules and regulation of that
particular country, so they could be faced any problem from the politicians and the
government both.
