The three key principles which I would like to adopt to shape my quality of life is
optimistic attitude, generosity and religiosity. It is crucial to have a positive attitude towards life
as it helps to undergo all the ups and downs of life (Shusterman 2016). Optimism towards life’s
struggles provides strength to face all odds of life and meet the challenges with a reinforcing
energy as it will help us to reach our goals of life. The religious attitude the helps to attain our
spiritual goals which keeps us grounded and maintain a balance in life. Balance in life will help
us to keep peace with our professional and personal aims in life. Religiosity, faith in almighty,
helps to identify what is right and wrong thus lead an ethical life based on the foundations the
moral values. Many times in life we have to sacrifice materials things and other temptations of
life in order to fulfil our obligations and responsibility towards our family, partner or kids.
Generosity helps us to develop a kind attitude towards the problems of the marginalized,
vulnerable and underprivileged so at to contribute with all our possible means towards the
betterment of their lives.
The idea of generosity takes precedence over the other two aspects and imbibing this
concept of generosity is what would make me proud in my life. The teachings of my religion
should be aligned with the idea of generosity and the any conflict between the two will make me
regret my way of life. As such, my aim is to lay more emphasis on the informal spiritual goals
which will help the individuals rather than remaining firm on my formal religious teachings and
not make any accommodations for the feelings of other individuals. Being able to help an
individual is what is important for the survival of the human race and it is for the attainment of
this purpose I am willing to make sacrifices.
This helps us to build a progressive community where social ties are developed when
people come forward to help the needy people. This brings harmony and peace not only in the
