INTRODUCTION
Global local challenges in accountability and ethics effect workers life in which they has
to deal with many issues which also impact on their professional as well as personal career
growth. Global local challenges in sustainability also affect business and ethical journey of
individual. The present report is based on ethical journey of person who start their career as staff
nurse and then grow professionally (Pearson, 2017). Furthermore, it explain experiences that
impact negatively as well as positively on job role and responsibilities. This study justifies the
whole ethical journey of person from first memories to last date and also define some business
and ethics general definition.
Main body
Ethics is branch of philosophy that includes defending, systematizing and suggesting
concepts of right and inappropriate conduct. In simple words, ethics is the system of moral
principles that affect how individual lead lives and make their decision. It is concerned with what
is good for person as well as community, it described as moral philosophy (Trevino & Nelson,
2016). Furthermore, business ethics is consist with general ethics, it is the study of proper
business practices and policies regarding controversial topic including insider trading and
discrimination.
Ethical journey as staff nurse-
After completing my graduation in January 2017, I decide to became a nurse because of
personal interest. I start my further education in nursing which makes me able to become a
specialist in this role. After 2 year I has complete my nursing course and decide to join in reputed
hospital or clinic just for staring my career as staff nurse. When I came across degree of bachelor'
of science in nursing I known every think about this profession. I applied in clinic where I get
selected by administrative, they offer the job role as staff nurse in business that helps to improve
my practices. I had join my first job at 1 October in 2019, where management provide
responsibilities related to my role such as maintaining health care records of patients. I had
recruited as staff nurse which is considered as first level of professional nurse in organization. I
need to provide the best nursing practices to patient on bed. Authority has given many
accountabilities in firm for example make the better and appropriate nursing care plan for all the
people by consulting with ward sister that help to completing my roles and responsibilities
effectively. In early days of my career learning that nurses has not valued because it is more than

care treatment to people. After few months, management decided to make me became a manager
in organization which is one of the best career opportunity for me to grow my professional career
as manager. 5 May, 2019 I had join position as manager, but on the other hand I experienced
many challenges and issues that effect on my life personally as well as professionally.
For example, working at global level culture differences and language differences, even
working as manager in business I had faced ethical issues. Some people make pressure on me to
provide personal data of patients that is totally against ethical practices of nursing. As manager I
care treatment to people. After few months, management decided to make me became a manager
in organization which is one of the best career opportunity for me to grow my professional career

my job. After serving good practices in I switch to new organization where I had been appointed
as director of clinics operation which is one of the another and most beneficial career
opportunity. 10 December, 2019 I had now joint as director of clinics operations where I also
faced ethical issue. When I had joint given position, some people pressures to leak the personal
information of workers which impact on their security and safety. Discrimination is the worst
experience which I experience while working as staff nurse.
Personal experiences as staff nurse-
The above ethical journey of my life is related to my professional career, where I
experienced different thinks that had positive and negative impact on my growth. For example,
when I am working as manager in business, pressure by other people for giving personal data of
patients makes me in trouble, here I experience the worst situation, if I provide information
because of high pressure it impact on my job negatively and I loss this job. But I did not done
any such activity because I knew my responsibilities and always try to fulfil it effectively.
Furthermore, in my entire journey I also had experience business ethical challenge such as
discrimination or harassment in workplace. Because I belong to different culture and language,
other staff member does not treat me well. They always try to avoid me and used those languages
which I cannot been able to understand. I had born colour skin tone, which affect on my
profession. Many people in work area does not like to communicate and work with me because I
had a dark skin tone it considered as harassment based on colour which is against human rights.
CONCLUSION-
From above, it has been summarized that working as staff nurse person face business
ethical issues as well as also pressurised by high power individuals. Doing job effectively is one
of the biggest challenge which has been faced by staff nurse. In above story it has been
