INTRODUCTION
Ethics, responsibility and sustainability are termed as three most important elements those who are essential to
understand and crucial to be linked with economy environment and society. Economic crisis significantly challenge
educational institutes as well as societies. There is numerous form of issue that undertakes and are continuously
impact upon performance of organisation (Raynolds, L. T., 2014). The challenges are necessary to be tackle as they
negatively affect upon organisation. Companies hold the responsibility as well as opportunity to significantly
contribute within solution of global issues in a well-defined manner. Present report has been conducted on NMC
group which is one of the largest and leading Healthcare providers in UAE. In this report, formative discussion has
been made on the manner in which local and global challenges in ethics, responsibilities and sustainability are
effectively tackle by organisation as well as individuals. In addition to this, application as well as concept of key
theories of ethics, sustainability, and responsibility has been included in this report. Further this report includes
reconstruction of experimental theory.
MAIN BODY
1. Analysis of key concepts
Ethics:
Ethics are termed as a formative set of values and norms that are being followed by an individual in the process of
interaction with society(Blowfield, Karam and Jamali, 2017). With the help of ethics finding of solutions of such
issues that are mainly related to human morality is being done by elaborating the concept of right and wrong, good
or evil, justice and crime etc. Ethics evaluates different type of universal values that are required to be accomplished
by an individual. These values include human rights, equality, natural environment and obedience of law. Within
NMC group ethics are being effectively followed in a positive manner by each and every employee as to treat the
patients in equal and respective manner.
Challenges:
There are number of local as well as Global challenges within ethics like imbalance in technology, social economic
considerations, moral obligation, differentiation existing all across the globe, religious beliefs and unequal
educational standards (Flynn, Tan and Gudić, 2017). All of these ethical challenges are duly being evaluated by
investigator that employees are facing globally and locally. As it is very essential to tackle them as challenges
negatively impact upon organisational productivity. In addition to this corruption is also one of the major challenges
which is required to be undertaken in best effective manner as it negatively affect individual and whole country in
negative manner. It has been identified that every person of country is liable to effectively deal with all forms of
ethical issues.
Responsibility:
Responsibility is considered as a liability in order to deal with issues or fulfil duties or take control over
numerous activities which are being duly performed by a person. All of these responsibilities are distributed to
employees as well as higher authorities of organisation (Çalişkan and Dedeoglu, 2018). For instance, manager of an
organisation hold the responsibility to evaluate that each and every employee perform task that has been allotted to
them in a well-defined manner. In NMC group each and every department of employees have been allotted with

number of responsibilities which are required to be accomplished by them on daily basis. Further employees also
have their duty towards society like cooperation, participation and respect as individuals those who are living within
society are duly a part of community and they further responsible towards fulfilling duties towards society.
Challenges:
There are number of local as well as global challenges such as individual does not fulfil their
responsibilities towards society, companies do not provide appropriate and correct wages to workers as per their
performance, cultural barrier etc. Thus, it becomes essential for an individual and Society to effectively tackle all
responsibilities that are being related challenge which occurs on local as well as global basis. In this each and every
person is liable to fulfil their duty towards society in order to effectively deal with challenges that further affect
economy of a nation. The formative solution of these issues can be effectively generated with the assistance of
citizenship concept. In this public can collaboratively find the ways in which they together resolve any form of
issue.
Sustainability:
It is the process to maintain changes among balances fashion within which only available resources are
being effectively utilised. In addition to this it also involves technology development as to effectively facilitate
society. It increases the harmony as to evaluate current as well as future needs of individuals. This is also being
defined with the assistance of 3 elements such as economic, environmental and social. All the three factors help in
maintaining long term sustainability (Gough and Scott, 2014) It can also be submissive by political, cultural and
technological factors. In addition to this it is also been evaluated as social, economical procedure that is duly defined
by movement of common ideal. Within NMC group different types of plans are being formulated in order to achieve
long-term sustainability. Major goal of sustainability is to increase education level and Healthcare knowledge
globally, promote strong economy etc. as to effectively identify through the possibilities towards economic growth.
Challenges:
There number of challenges that an individual and Organisation face in order to accomplish sustainability.
These issues negatively affect climate change, environmental factors that further impact society and individual in
number of ways. It is essential to tackle all the challenges which can be effectively done with the help of society and
individual contribution towards finding ideal solutions for the issues. In addition to this government hold the
responsibility to formulate number of plans in order to increase sustainability level that can further contribute
towards economic growth.
2. Application of key theories
Theories of ethics: These theories play key essential role to implement in order to fund number of measures to
effectively tackle numerous form of ethical challenges (Boström and et. al., 2015). In this both individuals as well as
society have duty to evaluate solutions with the help of which all these issues can be duly ignored. Mentioned below
there are different form of ethical theories which is being defined:
Virtue theory:
In this theory of ethics individual character that are termed as a key essential element of ethical thinking.
This is further being based upon three main standards that include ethics of care, eudemonism and agent based

of a human which can be achieved by lifetime practice (Dredge, D., 2015) In addition to this, it is termed as a
quality that duly motivates organisation and individual to accomplish goals as well as objectives. Within NMC
group with the help of virtue theory entity lead towards attaining organisational goals while further motivating
employees in a well-defined manner. In addition to this, it has been identified that Ethics of care is being coined by
feminist writers in the half of 20th century. This is further being based upon gender equality. Further it is being
depicted that Men think that masculine term is related with justice and women think that feminine term is related
with care. It further demonstrates importance of relationship as well as community rather than to focus upon
universal standards. Along with this agent base theory is being based upon common sense intuitions, that can be
identified by looking at the people to are eligible to be admired.
Kantian theory:
This theory is duly developed as a result if blessedness philosophy. It is mainly bases upon the formative
concept of internal good things are the good will (Welford, R., 2016) As per in accordance with this concept an
action can be good if it is maxim which is a principle behind this theory. This is being formulated by German
Philosopher Immanuel Kant. With the help of this theory formative elaboration in contemporary positions within
ethics as well as philosophy of mind. In addition to this, it states that an individual is required to act in such a
manner which is further considered as humanity by same individual. With the help of Kantian theory NMC group
can effectively able to increase harmony among employees.
With the help of above mentioned theories of ethics NMC group can effectively able to tackle all the
challenges in best effective manner. In this with the assistance of Virtue theory individual can be directed to think
ethical and work towards the concept that each and every individual is equal and they are further required to treat
everyone equally. While Kantian theory aid a person to have positive form of element with mind while undertaking
action. In addition to this in accordance with this theory individual is required to act according to the humanity level
of themselves.
Theories of responsibilities: These theories provide guidance to an individual as to find solutions related to
ethical issues along with the manner to tackle these challenges within responsibilities locally or globally. Mentioned
below two different form of theories is being defined:
Reorienting theory:
This is basically based upon interpersonal moral responsibility. As per in accordance with this theory if a
person is responsible than it is important for them to follow and hold all norms. It duly demonstrates responsibilities
which is further being required to understand by an individual with the assistance of morally reactive attitudes, that
are formative combination of human emotions that are involved in outcome as to identify quality(Lamrad,
2013)This is being undertaken by NMC managers in order to make individuals aware about their duties in order to
further tackle challenges that are linked with responsibilities (Lamrad, N., 2013). Being responsible is a simple
matter but it is not easy for every person to be responsible, they ignore their moral obligation to fulfil their duties in
less time.
Hegel's theory:

challenges. With the help of this theory individuals can effectively able to evaluate their formative liabilities towards
society which is further being required to accomplish in future and present. With the help of this theory in NMC
group senior managers can effectively offer formative guidance to employees in terms of their responsibilities
towards social welfare.
With the help of above mentioned theories individuals can effectively able to overcome the challenges in
well-defined manner (Gough and Scott, 2014). With the help of Reorienting theory individual can effectively able to
remind all the moral responsibilities which are being required to be fulfil by them. While Hegel theory aid an
individual to effectively overcome challenges by making identification of solution as per in accordance with them. If
condition is very critical then it will be resolved with higher involvement and if problem is not critical than it will be
resolved calmly and not with full participation.
Theories of sustainability:
With the help of these theories individuals can effectively able to evaluate formative solution related to
social issues that affect a country economy. Mentioned below two different types of sustainability theories in being
defined:
Early community development theory:
This theory depicts that there are various liabilities of an individual toward society which needs to be
fulfilled. Community development is possible with the help of community members who sits together and find
solution for various issue that are affecting their daily routine or leaving negative impact on society (Li, 2017)
This theory is used in NMC Group to help employees by providing them training about the action which needs to be
taken at the time of problem. According to the theory an individual should try to find solution for challenges that are
faced by society. It can facilitate an individual while forming plan to tackle various sustainability related issues that
are poverty reduction, enhancing education level of society (Gough and Scott, 2014). This theory is very helpful for
the society as it can guide various individuals and organisation to face various problems effectively and overcome
the same. It results positively when it comes to the growth of society.
Popular sustainability theory:
This theory is being undertaken by government of a nation in order to effectively deal with number of issues which

make their relevant contribution within society. It has found that various countries are going through different
challenges that are linked with sustainability, ethics and responsibilities. They comprise of socio economic cultures,
unequal educational standards, corruptions, moral obligations, pessimistic impact on environment and various
others. These challenges can be eliminated when individuals will follow appropriate framework associated with
sustainability, responsibilities and ethics. It has found that I behave ethically, accomplish my responsibilities as well
as make appropriate contributions towards social welfare for attainment of higher levels of sustainability.
Use of distinct theories within this report for resolving unlike issues which are being faced by nations as
well as individuals (Mensah and Okyere, 2014). They involve popular sustainability, game theory, community
development, Kantian and Virtue. All these theories have rendered me with an adequate guidance with respect to
ways in which I can accomplish all my duties with respect to member of society. Along with this, it has assisted me
within enhancement of formulation of decision making skills, guided me as well as developing solution finding
abilities. This aided me within finding out personal liabilities which has been possess towards NMC or community.
Apart from this, this has learned from this that there are different roles as well as responsibilities which
have to be carried out as a society member. This is my duty for working hard as well as be ethical when interacting
with others. As an individual, I live within society which implies different types of people, this implies my
responsibility towards development of community along with long term sustainability for the social group. Apart
from this, it has found that some members of society do not take part in developing activities as they are more
focused on own development rather than entire country (Raynolds, 2014). All the members of country are liable to
make their effectual contribution within welfare as well as growth as this is not always possible for developing
individuals when country is stagnating in a continuous manner. Therefore, this is crucial for enlarging entire nation
if they want to grow. I have determined that decision making skills within individuals can be amplified through the
usage of different theories which are being executed in this specified report.
From this, a knowledge has been acquired with respect to responsibilities which I have to carry out within
society along with the manner in which contribution for attaining long term sustainability within evolving

probability that response attained will be affirmative can be ensured. There are distinct policies which might reply in

weak economy which prevails within country.
As per it has been believe that if all the individuals of community behave in an ethical manner as well as
accomplish all the responsibilities for social welfare then there will be affirmative influence on society. It is crucial
as sustainability can be only attained through the assistance from each citizen of the nation and in case if anyone of
them is not working in an appropriate manner then it will be difficult for country as well as NMC to attain their
goals and sustain within the market for longer duration of time (Welford, R., 2016). The major challenge that is
being observed is corruption which is enhancing continuously and needs to be removed. It is needed to make
appropriate contributions so that the challenges can be reduced as well as by ensuring that I am not involved within
any kind of illegal activities which may create an agonistic impact on economy of country. This will lead both NMC
and country to have affirmative results.

sustainability act as key essential element for growth as well as development for both individual and organisation. In
addition to this, it has been determined that there is certain form of key concepts of ethics that are essential to
