Ethics are considered as social science, which is related to the social values and moral
principles. The business ethics deals with the study of business policies, structure, function,
training of employees, employee’s satisfaction level, and corporate social responsibility of
the organization towards the society. Business ethics largely depends upon the workplace
behavior of the organization (Sunanda, 2018). This report describes the future personal
reflection of the strategies that can be adopted to improve workplace behavior.

the basis of their talent and capacity, not on the basis of sex, race, religion, culture, and
values. There would be chances of better improved performance of the business. This step
can also help in reducing the communication gap among the employees and developing a new
diversified culture at the organization (Simons & Rowland, 2011).

may not feel overburdened. For this purpose, I will try to communicate with the employees
personally and will try to know their opinion about the working procedure of the
organization. This will surely help to improve the workplace behavior of each of the

kinds of functions, the employees may get the chance to interact with each other and their
interpersonal relations can be improved (Tessema, Ready, & Embaye, 2013).
Individual Goal Setting
I will try to set goals for employees on the individual basis that would allow them to
set the desired benchmark for others. For this purpose, I would suggest the management to
have meetings with each employee and motivate him/her to become the part of a successful
and developing organizational process. I will also listen to the suggestions of my senior
managers and will try to work according to their visions and desired goals. This action may
also empower the lower level employees to perform the duties and responsibilities expected
to fulfil form them (Teo & Low, 2016).
Workplace Improvements
Employees are tend to be happy when they are provided comfortable places to work.
For such purpose, I will monitor the arrangements of the workplace, common areas, meeting
rooms, and lunch area of the office where employees spend their office hours. I think
maintaining the sufficient lightening, fresh paint, rooms, facility of clean drinking water,
restroom and staff room will affect the performance of employees in a positive manner.
Paying attention to the small necessities of the employees makes them feel a valuable part of
the organization and thus helps them to perform better (Avci, 2015).
Conclusion
On the basis of the above study, it can be concluded that workplace behavior of an
organization can be improved by paying attention to the above-mentioned areas. However,
the same cannot the developed by the one-sided efforts of the management. For developing
workplace behavior, the employees are also required to make efforts in this direction by
following the organizational values in their day-to-day behavior and responsibilities.
