Business law and ethics are those legislation which has been formed in order to make
sure that all business organization work as per laws specified for regulating various processes
within corporate world. These laws deals over making organization operate in more effective
manner. Business laws helps in dealing over different processes taking place within an
organization. Also they holds responsibility upon making goals and objectives achieved while
maintaining legal operations performed as per laws defined. Ethics is covered within ethical code
of conduct that has to be followed by an organization. These laws have wider scope since they
cover aspects related over business organization. This report is based over European Union and
Brexit in relation to political sovereignty.

Parliamentary sovereignty means those principles which has been formed in order to
make sure that all functions performed by parliament is conducted in more effective manner as
per constitution. Since parliament is supreme authority of making law within UK and has been
creating its supremacy in law making process of UK(Mladenovic and et. al., 2019). Parliament
sovereignty does not allow court to make any legislation invalid and makes parliamentary body
free from any kinds of restriction applied over legislative body. In other words parliamentary
sovereignty makes laws formed in smooth and effective manner with more effectiveness. It has
helped in making the concept related to separation of power done in more enhanced manner.
European Union this is one of the most effective organization that consist of 27 main members
and made United Kingdom achieve stability within its different process. The union helped UK in
achieving sustainability within its various process. European Union has made promotion of
peace and values related to well-being of citizens. Also it has offered freedom, security and
justice without any internal borders formed. It has made sustainable development achieved
through balancing economic growth and price stability. Further EU lead upon making
competitiveness achieved within market through making social progress achieved with
environmental protection. EU has deal over creating non discrimination policies in order to avoid

discrimination. EU has made development of economic and monetary union by making one
currency that is euro. Further EU has provided basic features which made United Kingdom
develop itself in more effective manner. EU has made development of values within its member
countries that has lead upon making inclusion, tolerance, justice, solidarity and non-
discrimination performed. Such values are human dignity which has been formed over making
respect, protection and constitution based over fundamental rights. It has makes sure that
freedom is been protected of the citizens by providing them right to move and reside freely
within Union. Then it has protected basic fundamental rights of citizens. Democracy is reformed
by EU and made democracy reformed within its members countries. Then equality protected
through maintaining principles of equality all over the country. Further policies formed makes
non discrimination value achieved and also legislation has been passed by parliament. EU has
protected rule of law by creating fairness within legal system process. This has made justice
upheld through independence of judiciary that is been respected by all. In order to create more
transparency in justice system EU has made European Court of Justice formed within
judgements formed. In this judgement has to be respected by all members countries(David,
Mayes and Coppola, 2020).
Human rights are protected by the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. It has been
covering all those rights which are fundamental in nature and makes lack of discrimination
caused in relation over sex, racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual
orientation. Formation of EU charter over human rights lead upon making more relevancy
created under human right regulation. Impact of Brexit on UK it has been brought into
existence in year 2020 and has been brought into affect in year 2021. After this United Kingdom
has separated itself from European Union this made drastic change take place within various
processes existing in United Kingdom. Also BREXIT has been made United kingdom face new
challenges as it is required to makes basic changes done in process based on economic, social,
political and legal framework. Further Brexit is going to impact majorly legislations which were
been operated on principles of EU. BREXIT is also going to make industrial process changed
over making rules and regulations changed. Also BREXIT has made United kingdom develop
its own currency or use Pounds in order to conduct trade with countries . This has made United
Kingdom attain freedom which made it independent in nature and now United Kingdom can
enhances its laws by removing complexity from them. Further BREXIT made new social norms

developed that helps in leading over making society attain discipline with controlling criminal
intensities within United Kingdom. Also Brexit is going to create main impact over trade related
functions taking place in country. Due to Brexit various changes is going to be developed within
business process of UK. In this elements working on the basis of EU's principle or values is
neutralized through new legislation and norms been developed within United Kingdom. Also
Brexit makes different challenges faced by United Kingdom earlier managed in more organized
way. Brexit has made all over aspect of United Kingdom changed both at local and global
level(Condoleon, 2019).

over United kingdom. European Union helped in making United Kingdom attain sustainability

related to trade practices enhanced through European Union. Brexit makes various changes take
