INTRODUCTION
The sustainable environment is defined as the responsibility to conserve the natural
resources and to protect the global ecosystem to support the health and wee being of the people
and the animals living of the environment. The most important factor and the various decisions
of the businesses the environment is been baulky affected which is not a good sign for the future
generations. There is the impact and the stress over the government and the public because of the
wastage which is been produced. It is been analysed that in future the situation can be worse so it
is very important for the business organisation and the people to take care of the sustainability in
the environment. This report will include the topic on critically analysis of the step taken
towards the combating the climate change with an emphasis on the EU and against the
background of 2015 Paris agreement and COP26 in order to judge whether the western world
could successfully become carbon neutral and curb harmful emissions by 2030.
TASK
Paris agreement and COP26
The common cause which is been identified is that the amount of the taxation which is
being levied on the natural resources in the worldwide. This further become the major agenda to
work upon in 2015 by the Paris agreement. This is the international treaty which was legally
bound and brought 196 parties together so that they can work together to have a revert on the
climatic change and to work upon the situation which is affecting the environment with the
harmful actions. It is the emission of the parties to have a sustainable development across the
worldwide with the 5 year plan cycle. As per the basic report it is been 7 years for the plan which
is been conducted and it is evaluated that there is been a lot of damage to the environment. This
was founded by the COP26 conference which took place in 2021 . This issue was addressed in
the meeting and further it was notice that there was the most important development in the global
fight against the climatic change since the Paris agreement. COP26 was conducted in the
Glasgow with the help of the online channels and the participation at the time of the pandemic
situation, this also included the all the countries who have signed the original structure of the
United nations climate convention, the UNFCCC all the way back in the year 1992 . The main

aim of this conference was to give the various solutions and to look over the progress which is
been adopted by the various countries in order to protect the environment.

This conference is considered as the most major development as this involved the various
other nations and they were asked to take initiative and suggest the solutions which can be
helpful is saving the environment from the harmful affects there are various objectives which
were introduced and the various nations were asked to achieve the goals which are discussed
below:
There should be increase in the climatic finances
it is the responsibility of the various communities to help the countries which are the
most affected one.
The solutions needed to be provided by the government of the countries.
The various organisations which are responsible for the climatic change n4ed to involve
in the development of the environment.
Europe's climate plan
The European Union has involved in the major initiatives to save the environment and
having control over the climatic issues which is been faced by the country. There was the
initiative which is taken by the country is the Europe's 2030 target plan which includes the
region to make it climate neutral and this also include the reduction fo the green house gas
emissions. This was the initiative which was introduced in the long term of the leadership vision
so that the country is able to turn into the most 3effective country. It also initiated in developing
to the most Dunstable solutions.
