 European Union key focuses on the activities related with
managing the security of Energy individually or
collaboratively.
 The Energy security is same as the level of Energy security.
 Therefore, European Union and other states have effective
collaboration related with supplying of Energy with
streaming the pipeline that assists in disposing them to the
different other states.

In the contemporary scenario, there is constant increase in energy security as region
within eastern Europe highly depend upon the energy supplies from the Russia.
Despite of high threat related with the energy security European region were expsed to
the danger with supply cuts.
In addition to this, there was introduction of the pipeline inter connectors as well as
reverse flow capability so that it may easily ensure security among the pipeline.

There are different security issues and problem that arises therefore, to
overcome the issue EU member states need to improve or adjust their
activities with the other region that are supplying energy to the nation.
The lack of government structure in the different countries also act as major
security issue within the energy saving.
Along with this, the projected plan that is to build the gas pipeline that is Nord
Stream 2 is mainly consider as danger for the Europe energy security.

 Through reviewing the project it was found that Nord Stream 2 is planned in such a
manner that it would directly send the gas from Russia region to Germany.
 The pipeline mainly engage in doubling the capacity to 110 cubic meter gas within
the year. Therefore, this consider as not profitable from the perspective of security.
 From the perspective of Russian economy it is stated that building new pipeline
would support the Russia in footing their image in the energy market.
 Along with this, it also support in building the gap or market among the Ukraine so
that it may bring the Russia gas to the borders of the European borders.
 Therefore, it is stated that energy security is consider as an effective approach that
directly support in growing and developing the economy.

The European Union, pressured their own oil giants, including
those from Angela Merkel's Germany, appears to be softening
its stance on the new Baltic line. Along with this, companies
like Shell and Basf have stated that company need the pipeline
is needed to secure Russian natural gas into northern Europe.
So, it may be not useful for them. It was stated that Southern
European countries complain that it benefits the north.
