Event Concept
National Congress of Australia’s First People has arranged an event gathering where the

What: The event is organized by the Board of Six Directors to discuss the activities held

year the location is selected in Sydney. In this event, the discussion would be based on
the review of the previous year’s initiatives along with the upcoming policies and
advices. This event would provide the direction for the upcoming Congress activities
along with the expected budget allocations. It is estimated that almost 200 Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander would be delegated from different places of Australia and it would
include members from diverse academic, professional, and cultural background.
Where: The Congress will be arranged in Intercontinental Hotel, which is located on
Macquarie Street in Sydney. The luxurious place is compared to a playground of allure
and grandeur due to the most beautiful décor. The beautiful views of the Sydney Harbour
Bridge, Royal Botanic Gardens, and Sydney Opera House are visible from the luxury
rooms and suites. The Club InterContinental offers the high level of sophistication by
offering a selection of 27 Champagnes that would be served on a wrapped around
balcony terrace. The serene atmosphere is quite preferable for a Gala event.
When: The meeting will be arranged for two days. On 14th October, Thursday, the event

Who: The members of the organisation will be present in this event. The organisation has
twelve core staffs and a board of six directors. Almost 200 Aborigial and Torres Strait
Islanders would be present in this event. The event aims to showcase the cultural traits of
the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. An indigenous speaker would be present in
this event to motivate the members with the inspirational speech. Adam Goodes, the dual
Brownlow Medalist and the former Australian of the Year would be present in the final
day of this event.
Why: The event aims to develop the concern the upcoming policies and activities to be
undertake for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander groups. The report of the previous
year’s activities would be presented to the members. The event would even discuss the
strategic directions for the year along with the estimated funding for the upcoming time.

in the heart of Sydney. The Gala Event will be generally organized for discussing the future
