1. After watching the video, I have learned the following things about the
interviewing
The interviewer should ask the interviewee if he or she is ready or not for the
interview before starting the interview and should allow him or her that he or
she can ask to stop it or to take a break from it anytime. The interviewer
should allow the interviewee not to answer any question if he or she doesn’t
want to answer it.
The interviewer should be knowledgeable and familiar with the topic of the
interview and should explain the purpose of the interview first. The interviewer
should be clear with the questions, and the questions should be simple, easy
and short. The interviewer should remember what should be asked now and
what has been asked previously. He should interpret what the interviewee
said.
The interviewer should not talk too much or too less; it should be balanced.
The interviewer should not ask again what has been asked before. The
interviewer should maintain eye contact with the interviewee to make the
interview much more interesting. He should take an interest in what he is
being told by the interviewee. The interviewer should summarize what the
interviewee said; it would help him to develop new questions (Gibbs, 2013).
2. From the given video I have learned the characteristics of the qualitative
interview which are the following:

topic of the interview, and at the end of the interview, the interviewer should

3. I have chosen Event Management as a career, so if I have to conduct an
interview for the final project of my event management firm, I will consider the
following points:
I will first introduce myself and my firm to the interviewee, and then I will
explain the purpose of the interview and the works done by us to the person
so that he would be able to know about all my requirements.
I will let the interviewee introduce himself and then ask him or her about his
experiences and would listen to him carefully that would help me to analyze
him in a proper way.
I will ask him questions related to his interest like why he wants this job, how
much experience and interest he has about the industry, what are his motives
and aims and I will pay attention to all his answers to know his objectives
better.
In the end, I will ask him if he has any query and doubt about anything related
to the industry and will resolve his queries to make better communication.
3. I have chosen Event Management as a career, so if I have to conduct an
