It is a matter of fact that networking is a vital tool for career management. Looking at
that from what different perspective it can be said that networking can immensely help to
become commercially more aware of the industry is it can be helpful to provide access to
informal job markets or hidden submarkets within the industry. Does it can be said that
networking can provide valuable information regarding where some of these opportunities
are and what they entail. Networking can become a useful way of achieving or attaining
informal referrals regarding job offers and apart from that networking gives an opportunity to
share knowledge that they found in networking. Networking is even able to provide people
with information that day may need for completing projects in the industry. One benefit that
networking tools can provide is the ability to get information regarding the best practices in
the industry and also it can help to grow the professional network for the employees. It means
that if a person is able to get a depositary of skilled individuals in one single session of
networking employees will have the tendency to trust the individuals De no and in this way
networking can be significant process or method to be able to get various opportunities. Just
to be precise it can be said that networking is an effective tool that opens doors for various
opportunities.
Reflect on networking experiences
Internet work in event which I have attended I have utilised a scale which is
emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence can be looked at as an important skill which
helps to understand the motivation of one individual and it can also tell when the other person
is getting bored in the conversation and thus it can be used to change the tactics.

important to provide coherent story line to another individual in the workplace. I am currently

was able to approach strangers and make a meaningful conversation with them.
How to use overall degree program for developing skills
The degree program which I have attended can provide the skills that have prepared
me for the betterment of my career. One example it can be said that business law computer
applications and accounting skills where the professional skills which I have developed when
I was attending the degree program. Apart from that gain the ability to analyse the data of
economics and Statistics which are very helpful for the progression of my career. The skills
are important for working in event management as learning things regarding procurement is
immensely helpful in terms of achieving these practice policies for procurement. My course
has content related to practices of event management and pricing and while learning how to
monetize managing events which has prospects of generating revenue. More knowledge
regarding event management and strategy to lower expenses definitely help me to have
concerns regarding environment in mind while executing or incrementing the tasks for the
betterment or progression of my career.
Analysing professional qualification
It can be said that there are no specific professional qualifications required for oil and
gas industry as it is a relatively new course and thus no professional qualification has been
developed it for this purpose (Schwalbe, 2015). I believe that having a master’s degree will
help to walk in this career as that can potentially help to gather knowledge on the relevant
field of operation.

Plan to acquire recognized professional qualifications
It is a matter of fact that having a master’s degree is time consuming and thus I think
it would be the best way if I can acquired the qualification before getting into the job. In this
way I'll be able to communicate to my future employers in order to convey my intentions
regarding pursuing a master’s degree in the relevant field and what are a part timer for my
employer (Heagney, 2016)
Current job description
In event management practices role of a project manager to manage the event sites
and managing the funds can be a desired job in this sector. The job descriptions may include
a degree in the relevant field and minimum business knowledge for becoming a charismatic
leader (Harrison & Lock, 2017)
Skills needed for the job
The job of a project manager required basic business knowledge and analytics skills
and leadership quality. My LinkedIn profile and CV shows that I have had leadership
experiences while I was employed before and in school projects also. Bachelor’s degree in
the media is also a bonus for me to work successfully in this industry.
Reflection on the interview process
While the interview was going on I was asked whether I had a hard time while
working as a part of a team. Initially I presented a situation where I describe the tasks which I
was asked to fulfil and then I repeat how I implemented those tasks and disclose the final
result. Apart from that I said how I walked on the school projects and showed leadership

while performing and how they promoted sharing of knowledge while completing those
projects. After that I reveal how I suggested that we should draught all the ideas and then
choose the major themes on which we could walk on later then I assured all the members of
the group your happy and satisfied with the plans set by me.
Reflection on what I have learnt
From this particular module I have learnt various ways I can prepare myself for the
workplace situation and I got to know that I should practice more to be able to answer the
questions in the interview process. Not only that,, I also learnt that self-awareness can
become an important tool to attain some great results.
